Wonder Valley Ranch Resort

This is the place to go for a fun and relaxing vacation with your family! The food was so good and the servers had friendly smiles for every meal! The kids swam, enjoyed the hot tub, kayaking, fishing, ping pong, billards and basketball. Everything except horseback riding! We tried to book it, but we were told that there weren't any horses available. We were the only family there! So I asked about the horses and the office girl said that is a good question. We ended up canceling the hayride scheduled at 2:00 (we wanted to reschedule it for 11:00). The staff couldn't change the time. I can just imagine that some of the staff were on Christmas vacation and they didn't want to call them back in to work. We did love the peacefullness and the beautiful scenery. We will try again another time to book this fun vacation!

I booked the horseback ride as a gift for my wife's birthday and we both loved the adventure. Serg and Alana were wonderful guides. We enjoyed Serg sharing information about the area and most importantly what to expect from our horses. We hope to do this again in the Spring!

We were the only two guests that night. Most places would have cancelled our booking, but no, we were treated like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. We also went trail riding, and that was brilliant. What a place, wish we'd spent more than one night there.

Our Family had a marvelous time! The entire resort staff made our stay special and memorable! We fished, canoed, swam, horseback riding, race cars, water slide, trampoline, hot tub and used all the outdoor games such as ping pong, basketball, billiards, etc.

We have been going to Wonder Valley for abo it 10 years now and always have the best time! The list of activities is endless and the Cat Haven nearby is another huge bonus for us! It’s a yearly trip!

We had a very pleasant experience. Friendly and accommodating staff and great food. We enjoyed horseback riding, canoes, petting animals, hikes, and the children’s play areas. The food was very good and they are very accommodating to food allergies.

On our way to kings Canyon from Fresno Airport, we stayed here one night. The staff was really friendly and we were so thankful that they brought us a to go breakfast in lieu of the complimentary breakfast buffet that started later than we wanted to leave, but that’s pretty much where the good parts end. After checking into our room, we went to use the toilet and wash our hands and brown water filled the toilet bowl and sink. I ran the shower to check that and it ran brown for more than three minutes. Needless to say, we wouldn’t be using the water to brush our teeth. We walked the grounds to take advantage of all of the fun activities, but unfortunately none were available or were dilapidated/broken. There was a wedding setting up, so the pond was off limits. There were school buses of children on the grounds, so we felt like we stepped into this place by accident. If I were to do it all over again, I’d stay in a traditional hotel with a lower price, newer furnishings, and water that the health department probably checks.

It was our first time visiting this resort. We had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful. We will be going again! Highly recommend! Justine and Penny (the horses we rode) were very sweet.

My wife and I had a wonderful time with the hour back riding and the guides were awesome and very knowledgeable. It was such a relaxing experience and was so happy I was able to do it for our anniversary. Thank you again wonder valley.
