MPT Gateway Retreat, Sanchi

Property location is good, property is very old so not easy to maintain properly. Plumbing is very poor & faced very bad experience by unable to use wash room & huge wastage of water for > 4 hrs onwards! staff is very humble & remain humble to serve with limited resource availability. State govt/tourism to look in such valuable properties & allocate budget to well maintain.

The mp t property at sanchi is located close to the stupas. It has some extra facilities like a gym, restaurant and bar as well. There is ample parking available. The rooms were spacious with all the amenities one would expect at this price. The staff is very well-behaved and attentive. The food in the restaurant is also good.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Gateway Retreat, Sanchi. The staff helped arrange a trip to the Udaygiri Caves, and the location of the hotel means you are not far from the Sanchi Stupas. The bar is cosy with fun decor. I love that I could see langurs and a great variety of birdlife at the hotel gardens. I had an early evening train and was kindly given a late check-out. Thanks to all the team for a great stay.

Room was average not very clean. Food also was average. Under staff. Restaurant is not up to the mark. Location is very good and cheap accommodation

Property is beautifully maintained with ample parking lush green gardens and play area. IT'S PROBABLY Best place to sstaying you are visiting Sanchi in budget price even for food also because there are very few options for proper dinein in Sanchi. Service is awesome. I visited propert twice there restaurant was open and enjoyed a lot next time it was close and open air buffet was offered may be under renovation . What I didn't like was rooms air conditioning and maintenence that is something they need to look into.
