Exceptional stay and experience. I rarely write reviews unless something is truly fantastic, and this is. The location is perfect for exploring the Dolomiti ski zone and the town of San Vigilio is really nice. The host family is wonderful and does a great job of hosting guests. The breakfasts are amazing, a perfect way to start the day.

A great location on Kronplatz with excellent local food experience and great hospitality of entire Clara family and hotel team creates unforgettable winter vacation. Spa and outdoor pool surrounded by snow are a must to refresh yourself after hard skiing before a great dinner.

We were traveling with 3 kids, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The place is perfect with lots of sun and snow in January. All recommendations for this beautiful hotel with excellent service and staff. We are definitely coming back next year.

Perfect accommodation. Friendly and supportive. Breakfast was delicious, i felt so welcome and the hosts were fabulous. Room is very clean and there are enough parkplaces, also very convenient was the charging Area for E-Vehicles. Everything was Perfect!

This is a very relaxed stress free hotel. Everyone who works here is super accommodating and helpful. The owners are fully engaged and are always part of the superior service that we received at dinner and breakfast. The food is very well prepared and their spa area and pool are super clean and relaxing. Totally recommend. We have been there twice already. We plan on going back!

From the moment you wake up to fresh air and birdsong until the moment you fall asleep under the stars, Mareo is the place to be. Best service, fresh, local and creative cuisine, excellent wine pairings and full service bar, relaxation spa and proximity to incredible outdoor adventures all seasons. I’ve never felt so spoiled and so cozy in the same moment!

The hotel is absolutely fantastic - super clean, warm, recently renovated with very cordial stuff and absolutely superb food indeed ! Our room with French windows was overlooking to the World Cup pust Erta and it was amazing. The spa with 3 saunas and relaxing area, the open air hot water pool is exactly what you need after a day on the slopes. The hotel own shuttle to the Miara ski lift is very convenient as well. Prices are very competitive too ! Well done Clara family , you are the best , we will definitely return !

My wife and I had such an incredible stay at the Mareo. It is obviously a family run hotel and you can feel the warmth and caring that you don't necessarily get from the larger hotels. The rooms are immaculately clean, we chose the half board option and the dinners were INCREDIBLE. Breakfast was buffet style with the highest quality local products and I kept remarking the coffee was the best I had during our trip. The spa area was top notch and the location was the icing on the cake. I would recommend the Hotel Mareo to anyone that wants an authentic South Tyrolean experience staying with an incredibly thoughtful and hard working family, in a delightful atmosphere.

Absolutely wonderful property & staff. On a whim, some colleagues & I decided to road trip to the Dolomites from Germany for the weekend, leaving little to no time for planning/researching properties. We booked at the Mareo based on reviews - property, food, service were all A+++
