Parrots Boutique Resort

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and overall we thought it was great! Positives: This is one of the highest rated and expensive places to stay in Port Barton, so we expected it to be quite good. Compared with most accommodation in PB, it is modern and new. We loved the pool, which was great and refreshing when chilling there. Though this place is a bit further down the main Bonifacio street than most hotels/hostels, it is close to the Fat Cat Café, and only a 10 minute walk to the beach anyway, as PB is small. The room was lovely and spacious, and aircon worked well. The bed was comfy, and the balcony area is great for chilling! The bathroom is nice and spacious too, but the second day of our stay, we noticed the tap/toilet and shower water had turned very yellow. I don’t know if they pull the water from the local stream or if it is filtered at all but this was weird and worrying especially when showering. The toilet water was brown/black for that day and the final day we left. The bathroom also has a lot of bugs falling from the roof, as there is no false ceiling in there like in the room. There was a musty/musty smell in the bathroom the whole time. Obviously, we were in a small isolated town in the jungle, which still doesn’t have stable supplies of electricity or water, and they do their best to provide a hotel service. PB is getting more and more popular, so I assume a lot of infrastructure will be coming down the line to support sustainable development of the area. We loved the resident cats who are in and out and chilling. The staff were all lovely, and made us decent breakfasts and brought to our balcony to eat, which was lovely! There is a water refilling station which was great. We paid 50 pesos for the hotel to bring us to the bus station via tricycle, which was reasonable. Areas for improvement: Apart from improving the water situation is that the driveway in should be paved and street lighting if they can make this investment, as it becomes very swampy when it rains, and hard to navigate after dark with the phone torch. Additionally, for the breakfast, they should add the option of poached eggs to the breakfast menu.

It is a wonderful place in Port Barton, we are super happy that we celebrated our honeymoon here The hotel interior and exterior are well-designed, which is unusual for the hotels in the area. 
The hotel itself is Boutique, intimate, and peaceful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The swimming pool was great. The included breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and you get to eat your breakfast on your own Patio/Balcony which is super nice. We also enjoyed the food you can order from the hotel for the launch and dinner (you just need to book it the night before since they are making it
 , especially for you). The staff is above and beyond to accommodate any request, truly made us feel at home.


 Within 3 minute's walk from the hotel, you get to the beach, where you can swing from a coconut tree Also, for coffee lovers, the coffee at the nearby restaurant called 'Fat Cat' was excellent (they are the only ones in town to have a coffee machine). They also serve a really good breakfast and great Italian food. We believe that this hotel is a very good option if you’re looking for high-level yet good value for money. They also offer massage service which we didn’t try but other guests did and said it was great.

This is the best place we encountered in our Palawan trip. The rooms and the hotel itself are kept in a wonderful atmosphere. The atmosphere and hospitality make you feel at home. great staff will prepare you delicious dishes and help you arrange a guide, boat trips or rent a scooter. lovely stay - we will definitely be back ;)

Certainement un des meilleurs hôtels de port barton, il est moderne avec un jolie piscine. Petit hôtel cosy, cependant les chambres sont petites et sombres. Le petit déjeuner comporte 4 plats à choix qu'il livre sur la terrasse à l heure choisie. Personnel adorable au petit soin. La literie n'est pas la plus confortable. A 10 min du centre

Creemos que es de los mejores sino el mejor lugar para alojarse en Port Barton. Estuvimos 3 noches y creemos que fue perfecto. El personal muy atento, recepción y el personal de cocina también. Tienen desayuno incluido el cual nos pareció perfecto, ya que tiene 4-5 opciones y te lo llevan a la puerta de la habitación. El único “pero” podría ser que para llegar el camino es de tierra y cuando llueve se hace un barrial, pero nada tan terrible. Tampoco cuentan con closet en la habitación pero como nos quedamos poco tiempo no fue necesario.

Es un hotel normalito del todo pero teniendo en cuenta el pueblo creo que no hay muchas opciones. El camino de entrada es un barrizal las habitaciones son correctas con lo necesario y a.c que funciona bien la cama esta sobre una base de cemento y no es muy cómoda la amabilidad del hotel como en todo filipinas siempre con una sonrisa pero nosotros no expirementamos la atención que vimos en las reseñas ni mucho menos fue correcta sin más dispones de un desayuno correcto que te lo sirven a tu habitación y lo tienes que encargar la noche anterior. Dispones de WiFi En resumen está correcto para pasar una noche o 2 como en nuestro caso pero esperábamos mucho más o es que veníamos de muy buenas experiencias anteriores
