La Locanda del Loggiato

We loved our stay in this gorgeous accommodation. We’d had a bit of an accident during the day while walking and Barbera, the host could not have been more helpful. The lounge area is delightful and the bedroom had authentic style. Would love to return one day.

Location, nice staff, clean, beauty of this place: unique.

Loved the Bagno lodging location with spacious room! Especially loved the cooking class with our Italian experts, Barbara and Katarina! The pastas, dessert, music and conversation were the best :)! Highly recommended the location and cooking class!!

Lunch here was special in a beautiful contemporary dining room. We started with some delicate Scottish salmon and then advanced to tagliolini with white truffles. Everything was delicious. White tablecloths and professional service sitting above the main square in Cortona.

I understand that there are not a lot of options in a small town but I would avoid this one if you are American. It’s the equivalent of a 1 star hotel. Dark, dirty (broken furniture and cobwebs in the room) and has a funky smell. No elevator. No TV. I don’t think there’s even a phone in the room. Thankfully they had A/C. My room smelled like cat pee. I think they described this as a b&b. Also, the front desk was not friendly. She seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. Maybe this is an Italian thing?

What an adorable and beautiful place! It provided the perfect ambience for relaxing and recharging after a 4 week long trip around Tuscany. The place is comfortable, peaceful and the breakfast is magnificent! Everybody we interacted with was kind, sweet and welcoming. Excellent location for exploring the Val D'Orcia. We would love to return many times!!

Ho alloggiato il 4 e 6 novembre. Colazione gestita dalla signora Caterina: ti accoglie con un sorriso e una vitalità molto forte. Colazione ottima, torte preparate da lei eccezionali, disponibilità massima, un vero portento. Grazje ancora. Alloggio: nell' appartamento qualche attenzione in più lo rendere eccellente.

Già entrando nel salone, molto accogliente, si intuisce come sarà la camera, che infatti è recuperata benissimo mantenendo la pavimentazione originale ed arredata con gusto. Ci hanno acceso il caminetto nel salone e siamo rimasti lì a gustarci l'ambiente in tutta tranquillità. Colazione (in un altro edificio a pochi metri) superbuona e staff (Barbara, milanese ma felicemente trapiantata, e le signore della colazione) gentilissimo. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Unica pecca: i cuscini, troppo alti.

Buona la gestione, la struttura è stata recuperata con attenzione qualche tocco di originalità negli arredi. Le camera, una diversa dall'altra, sono pulite, il silenzio notturno totale anche nell'orario della cena sulla piazzetta pur piena non c'era rumore fastidioso. Probabilmente, anzi sicuramente, la tipologia di clientela e turisti è diversa da quella caciarona e spesso maleducata che ci invade in Liguria. Particolare la collocazione della sala colazione (ottima) a due passi dal B&B. Insomma da consigliare
