Acuaverde Beach Resort

Overall our stay was nice beach was always clean. Food was ok

Fantastic place

The beach was perfectly clean and clear when we were here! We have been to other resorts in Laiya over many years, and Acuaverde has always had the cleanest waters and shores. Shore is also nice and wide (and not too rocky, unlike in other resorts), and water does not go suddenly deep (unlike in other parts/resorts). The resort was fully booked but it never felt crowded. And despite pets, the resort (including the walkways and amenities and common areas) were also very clean. Not a sign of pet mess/accidents. Also everyone with their pets seemed to be in extra good mood. The crowd/guests were polite, even friendly, and chatting with one another about their dogs. Our room was also fairly big, good for 4 adults and a pet. (We got Solana, which was in their new wing.) Our room was not beach front, but it was spacious and new and clean. It had complete amenities -- rain shower, hand shower, bidet, smart TV, refrigerator, even an extra sofa bed, etc. Buffet food is also good. It has improved A LOT since the last time we visited (pre pandemic). Before it was just so so, but now food is objectively delicious. Kudos to the team for the improvement! They also have spa service now (which wasn't there last time we were here). We will try that next time we go back. Lastly and most noticeably, their service was EXCELLENT. Every member of the staff was hospitable and warm. It was peak season when we were there, but service was still efficient and kind. This remains our favorite Laiya resort hands down.

My wife and I just had a wonderful vacation at the beautiful Acuaverde resort. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are all helpful and very friendly. The two restaurants are invitingly designed, and the food is delicious, especially the morning and evening buffet. Masarap! The room was clean, secure and comfortable. We slept well on the queen size bed and enjoyed relaxing on the veranda surrounded by the gorgeous greenery of the resort. While the waves at the beach were a little strong, we thoroughly enjoyed our time swimming and then relaxing in the beach cabanas. The beach was spotless and was cleaned and raked daily. A real bonus for us was that we arrived at the time when the huge old Sampaloc trees were dropping their fruit. My wife collected enough to make 9 jars of Tamarind jam for the family upon our return home. Thanks to all the staff at Acuaverde for making our vacation one of the most memorable of our travels. We will be returning very soon for another peaceful and relaxing stay at Acuaverde.

We love Acuaverde! The best Pet Friendly beach resort ever! Best amenities for dogs and hoomans. Relaxing place, friendly and accommodating staff, delicious food, awesome place! What more could you ask for, they got all good stuff in there! Our beach getaway and we'll keep coming back!

We are from Australia and a family vacation. We also had a wedding here with guests attending from all over the world. Firstly the hotel is very safe and secure, with security at front and back, the beach is flagged with lifeguard for safe swimming and plenty of amenities available for this peaceful boutique resort. The water here is so refreshing (just recommend bringing reef shoes cause it’s a little rocky). They offer free cabanas big enough form 2-4 people to relax in. The staff were so friendly and very very helpful. They organised s’mores for us over the bonfire on the beach, we enjoyed many water sports including kayaking, banana boating and even played volleyball. The food is amazing with a buffet dinner for breakfast and nighttime and ala carte available for lunch. Both international and Tagalog. Their famous Batangas coffee is delicious. We cannot thank the staff enough for this amazing experience. Everything was perfect. Special shout out to Sugar, Angel and Merrylle for making it all possible.
