We loved our short stay at Hotel L'Antico Pozzo! The room was clean and beautiful with a very large bathroom. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good sized with many options. Would highly recommend!

We booked for 2 days and expected a nice old style cosy hotel in this wonderful old city. The hotel is in a great central location. The room was old style with plenty of room. All made of stone and the weather had turned cold so very cold without any heating We asked for the heater to be turned on and were told by the night manager it was against the law this time of year but after complaining he said he would ring his plumber and see if it could be turned on. 2 minutes later he came to our room and just turned on the heater that ran by hot water, What a joke as it could have been turned on all the time he just wanted to save money and see us be cold. It says it has a mini bar, there was a bar fridge with a bottle of water in it. We only stayed one night as it was just a terrible hotel, don’t waste your money for a COLD ROOM

We loved our stay at this hotel! Emanuele was so lovely and helpful. The staff gave us great restaurant recommendations. The rooms were so spacious and lovely with high ceilings, with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was spotless. The breakfast was delicious with great coffee! We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great hotel . Positioned perfectly inside the town . The rooms are spotless and spacious with high ceilings . The couple who run the hotel are delightful . The breakfast is beautifully presented and is plentiful. We took advantage of having the hotel pick us up from the train station (for a fee of course) and this was seamless. The air conditioning wasn’t turned on yet as we have found is the norm for this time of year in Italy which we thought could be an issue as it was unseasonably warm , we were provided with a fan and a free upgrade to another room that would be cooler . Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely owners . This hotel punches way above its 3 star rating .

Great welcome, very helpful personnel. Located in the center of the town, close to shops and restaurants. Nice and quiet rooms, very clean. Comfortable bebs. Breakfast was a little bit poor but compared to the overall experience is insignificant.

A well located comfortable hotel. They thoughtfully provided detailed information on where to park (lot 3) to access the hotel. As San Gimignano’s historic district is fairly small, it was conveniently located to all the sights of interest.

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin. Great location. Beautiful historic building sympathetically refurbished with comfortable rooms. Welcoming and attentive staff. Quiet. Breakfast was typical of the region and a good selection. Would happily return.

Great hotel location. Staff was excellent all around. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Rooms were beautifully maintained within the standards required for a heritage site. Highly recommend.
