Sonder at Jackwill Flats

The place was very clean and tastefully decorated. It had air conditioning which was key as the weather was hot. The living room is spacious. I love the concrete floors. Location was near lots of bars and restaurants but far enough to be quiet

The apartment was well stocked and nicely furnished. Location was great. Parking was a little tricky on Tuesday when street cleaning was happening, but other than that, no problem. We would definitely stay here again, and were pleased with our first Sonder experience. Very impressed with the communication and smoothness of the operation.

Excellent option. Very well situated in hipster North Park area. Very clean, modern, and spacious apart hotel. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable bed. Highly recommend if you don’t need big lobby and fancy entrance. Nice !!

Spaces are turnkey ready! Everything you need for cooking , lounging, Chromecast ready so your phone bounces all of your favorites to Tv in a comfortable position! Any issues can be handled with the Sonder concierge either by phone call or chat.😀

Pros: The personalized note and messages from the app made me feel so welcomed and at home. Our stay was amazing and the apartment is beautiful. The decor is very upscale and I took pictures for future reference when I redecorate my home. There were plenty of towels and all the utensils were there to cook. However, we didn’t cook a thing. There were to many restaurants nearby and we wanted to venture out on this family trip. In addition, a major grocery store is a few steps away and this is so convenient. Cons: Parking is at a premium. Luckily we stayed during a holiday weekend where the rules for street parking were not in effect. Otherwise, we would have to walk nearly a mile away to park and that’s just to far. Despite the parking situation, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice, modern and CLEAN! Me and my 4 kid's (7, 12, 14, 20) arrived in San Diego in the middle of the night, and check-in was easy and street parking was thankfully available. We had just driven cross-country from North Carolina and stayed in a couple of hotels along the way, I knew we were gonna want and NEED a little more room and so I booked this place. We were very comfortable. I was able to cook with the full-service kitchen. They have everything you need to get started, more than enough dishes, utensils, pots, pan, dishwasher, dish detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap (although I mostly used our soap that I make), and any questions I had were quickly answered either over the phone or over chat through the app. I was even able to easily extend my stay through the app as well. Ultimately, we decided to stay at a local StayBridge Suites, only because they were able to accommodate us easier when extending our stay while we wait on our permanent housing. We didn't want to have to keep changing locations because they were previously booked before our arrival. A couple of small cons, it was a little warm while we were there...we were never really able to get it cool enough. The sofabed squeaked and was a little bothersome for my oldest daughter, but to me, that's not enough to take away a star. Again, it was nice and clean and I really appreciated that. I disinfected the place when we got there only because I'm always like that, but I probably didn't need to. I washed a few loads of clothes and brought in a couple of tvs from our storage unit to make it more enjoyable for my kids. Overall, we could've stayed there for over a month and been comfortable until our permanent housing was ready. I think this type of place/company is a great balance between a hotel and an airbnb. I would definitely stay with them again and recommend them to anyone.
