I wish I read reviews before I paid for this dirty place with unprofessional and uncaring staff. The bed was not made. Fully of hair and dirty spots. When I called the staff to make the bed, they said their housekeeper was not available when actually they had a note saying that a housekeeper would be available upon request. I waited for about an hour with no response. When I called back, the front clerk said she did not know why a housekeeper was not there, as if she did not care or it was my responsibility to make that happen. This business shouldn’t be running at all, especially in a beautiful city like San Diego.

I never leave a bad review but the experience I had could have cost me my job. There is an underground parking lot. In the morning as I was going to leave, a car was blocking the exit. I called the hotel management and he said, “That guest is sleeping and he didn’t want to wake them. I would have to wait till they woke up.” I could not believe the response especially because I told him I needed to go to work. Thankfully another guest was walking by and guided me out. I literally missed the other car and the side cement stair/wall by 8 inches. If he didn’t walk by or I would have had a big car, I would not have made it to work or out of the garage. As far as the room, the sheets and towels were stained and the toilet didn’t work. I travel 9 months out of the year for work and this was the worst accommodations I have experienced.

The bedsheets, sink, shower walls had hair all over, including clippings and long strands. My bed sheets had a big, hard white stain, hence me thinking they were not new sheets. It did not look clean, I found a beer bottle cap and toothpaste spit in the sink area. The shower curtains had pink mold. I left my items in the front office until I could check in, everything reeked of curry. I like curry but I don’t like being enveloped in it. Other people staying there were loud and I was scared because they knocked three times??? On my door. I didn’t even want to leave my room for the rest of the evening.

I would just ask that this property post updated realistic pictures of their rooms because I stayed in room 302 and it was not clean at all. Not to mention, it was missing a chair, the keurig was broken and someone took off the smoke detector. Also, there was nobody at the front when i tried checking out so I left my keys in my room for the staff 😁. I do have to at that the staff there are wonderful and friendly people and they try to do the best with what they have!

Nice motel in a decent neighborhood. Older building with a basement parking garage. I would not recommend trying to park in there with a larger vehicle.

It was an impromptu quick trip home and we needed inexpensive. Inexpensive shouldn’t = filthy. We tried for 3 hours to get ahold of property (hoping for an early check in) with no answer, even left vm twice. Room smelled bad even with window open, mirror was dirty, hairs in shower, microwave was disgustingly filthy. Mattress super uncomfortable as were the pillows. Nightstand drawers were filthy as well - I wish I could attach photos of just how dirty it was. Couldn’t pay us to stay here again

It was rainy day and the 4th floor has some cracks in the ceiling so my personal stuff got wet. They did not clean the rooms earlier

I usually don’t like to say anything negative about places but I honestly could not see the positive in our stay except for the staff was really nice but the room was very dirty I’m sorry.
