Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity

離哪裡都很遠 非常不方便 除非自己租車 否則不推薦 衹能天天吃自助餐 旁邊啥都沒有 吃的有點噁心了 酒店區域非常重要

I am never normally one to leave a review however I feel completely let down and my faith in Salobre being a great resort has vanished. We visited in January 2024 as a couple and had a great experience, so much so that we decided this is the only hotel we wish to visit on a return trip to Gran Canaria. I am disappointed to say we have regretted this decision fully. We experienced several problem during our stay and reported them to the reception staff in a friendly and polite manner. Our problems were as follows: -Noise in the hotel from construction sites surrounding the resort daily -Noise within the hotel from repair works being carried out which we were assured were only for 1 day however this was almost everyday. The noise was extremely loud drilling, banging with hammers or other tools and was lasting for hours on end daily in the rooms next to us or above. -Towel cards were taken from the room by cleaners and only after being directly approached were returned -TV remote taken from the room, again we believe by cleaners -Iron broken and leaking water -Shower not working, would not stay hot -Food options poor and general cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant poor. Plates covered in insects, not just 1 or 2 but many many insects small & large. The food options for dinner did not generally follow the specific themes of the evening and you could not pair items together for example plain rice with no sauce to pair. -Walkway lights turned off at night and in pitch black darkness -Broken glass on the 6th level floor for several days without being cleaned. Serious health and safety standard As previously mentioned we reported some of these issues to the reception staff and were told they would sort it out. The only resolution we were offered was a complimentary bed on the 11th floor pool. This was not a fitting resolution as we actually did not want to spend anymore time at the hotel and spent our time and money leaving the resort daily by taxi to escape from the misery this trip cost us. I do not believe the staff had any intention of taking the feedback from us seriously as we also witnessed several other guests with problems and make an attempt to report them but everyone was greeted with the same mannerisms that included telling us to speak quietly? I understand you do not want a guests experience to have an effect on the other hotel guests however it is disrespectful and dismissive. On checkout we were asked about our stay and I again repeated the issues we experienced to be told “oh we are sorry” and then charged fully for food/drinks we ordered during our stay. I wanted to log a formal complaint regarding our experience but we were dismissed once again. Looking at other reviews left by guests I know that no accountability will be taken for this by the hotel staff and the guest experience manager will ask us if we “believe in 2nd chances?” We have been fully let down by this experience and will not be returning

An incredible hotel, that feels extremely luxurious! We stayed in a Double Deluxe Superior 11th Floor room, and it was great. Lovely design, and plenty of amenities including shampoo, shower gel, extra towels, and balcony furniture. The 11th floor rooms guarantee a great view, and it’s also a quick walk to the main pool. We stayed half-board, so enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and dinner in the hotel everyday. The main restaurant had absolutely everything to choose from - the best ‘all-inclusive’ style food i’ve ever had. You could get fish cooked fresh in front of you, custom smoothies at breakfast, plenty of salads and desserts. Oh and unlimited Prosecco included with each breakfast haha! Absolutely would recommend booking a package with food. Lots of different pool areas, but we mainly stayed around the main top floor pool and sun-lounger area. We never struggled to get a sun-lounger, and the views are incredible. None of that awful morning race to get a sun-lounger. The site that the hotel is on is lovely for a walk, and a shop is a very close walk away to get food, drinks, snacks etc. There was some building work going on across the valley, but you could hardly hear this, and could not hear it at all at the top floor pool, in the rooms, or the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend, one of the nicest hotel experiences we have had, with fantastic pools, rooms, food and staff. We don’t usually like ‘all-inclusive’ style hotels, but this feels exceptionally premium, and the meals had a very premium restaurant experience.

This holiday is by far my favourite I’ve ever been on. The facilities are so lovely, the staff are super friendly and it’s such a relaxing vibe. We stayed for 8 nights but I wish me stayed for a lot longer! We went for a delux room with golf view and it was stunning!! The hotel is on the hills so it can be confusing to get around but after a few days you get the hang of it. The pools were lovely, especially the adults only sunset pool and the secret one! The food was delicious and as someone one who needs gluten free, I didn’t ever need to worry. All food was labelled which dietary requirements and even had them on if there were any traces. The staff were super helpful and accommodating and offered me gluten free options, like crepes, bread, pasta, pizza and GF desserts. They were some of the best gluten free foods I’ve ever had! I’d like to thank Ester, Yarina and the Chefs especially for being so helpful regarding my requirements. They made the whole food experience a lot less daunting and a lot more enjoyable! Gluten free food photos are attached! We also took advantage of the spa facilities which were superb and we played golf too! Both very fun! The hotel is located up in the mountains which offers stunning views! There is a free bus that takes you down to maspolomas, but doesn’t go past 6pm. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyway that wants to get away to relax. My only downsides was the nearest shop is a 2mile round trip walk and the entertainment is just a singer. The singers were amazing, but something additional would be good to mix things up. This being said, these are only very minor things and doesn’t change my view on returning or recommending it to anyone!!

I absolutely love this hotel. I stayed a week in January and 2 weeks in may and returning for my 40th birthday in a week. It's my new favourite place to relax and unwind. Most of the staff were lovely but a couple not so much and didn't speak. I travel solo so would really of appreciated staff talking to me, I watched it happen around me to couples and families but when it came to me there was no chat and getting a drink was slow. I love the food and there's so much choice each night. Cocktails were lovely at night but by the pool they could do with being stronger and having a water machine around would be much appreciated as 5 euros for bottle is a bit much. During my 2 weeks I got the bus to the beach a few times and the mogan market, the bus driver is most friendliest guy. There was a few activities that weren't on during my stay that I had planned to do like the aloe Vera workshop and aloe Vera garden when I enquired about it I got told it wasn't on and got handed a bit of paper with information about aloe Vera and then the staff just started talking to each other. Wasn't quite what I expected and was really disappointed. The pools are absolutely amazing and always plenty of beds to choose from. It's the most perfect place for getting away from it all. My room was great with nice views, a fabulous comfy bed, a few English channels on the TV, safe and fridge. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to be away from everything and just relax

Very disappointed with this hotel ! We thought it was the perfect place at the beginning, the workers were nice and the place looks great. However we firstly booked the room for 2, we asked to add someone (an adult) to the room so 3 people total, they offered use a triple deluxe room. We confirmed it before going there. When we arrived to the room there was a big bed and a very small bed like the second bed was for a child. We looked on the website and the triple deluxe is not for 3 adults but for 2 adults and 1 child ! We decided to go to the reception desk. They said to use that they do not offer 3 adults room and that they did something for us however we never knew that and we would have never booked it. They also said that Spanish people are shorter so that’s why the bed was small ! They offered to book another room but the price was very expensive. We are very upset with this inconvenience ! And no solution to resolve this problem ! It should have been said before. So be careful when you book there !!!!
