Sami Beach Hotel

Lovely Friendly Hotel, we stayed here as a base for a family wedding nearby. Staff super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Mainly adults here. Showers powerful although make sure you have plug twisted to open otherwise when you realise it floods out of other one in bathroom. Aircon worked well and quiet enough we kept on overnight. Breakfast, pretty chilled out. Bar reasonable for alcohol but buy your crisps at supermarket in Sami as almost half price in supermarket. You pay for laziness!. Only other comment not about hotel but beach, make sure you have shoes you can wear swimming it's all stones and very painful on bare feet!

It was an amazing experience i enjoyed our stay at all means, food, cleaning, Rooms, pool everything was top and I want to give a special thanks to Mesut from the animation team for making our vacation even better😊 highly highly recommended

The hotel was amazing. The reception was very attentive, and the rooms were clean and orderly. With its beachfront location, you can sip your drink on a sunbed at night, stroll along the shore, or enjoy the nearby clubs. Much appreciated, thanks.

This hotel, the family and staff go above and beyond to ensure all their guests have an amazing holiday. My room was a mountain view room which was lovely and quiet with a really comfortable bed and efficient shower room. Also included was a safe and air conditioning. The breakfasts were plentiful with lots of choice of both hot and cold foods, as well as pastries, fresh fruits and yogurt etc. and always plenty of tables to sit. The grounds of the hotel are kept immaculate and there are lots of sunbeds/shades around the beautiful pool area. Sunbeds on the shingly beach opposite are also available to hotel guests, free of charge. The pool bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day until mid afternoon. I had a few lunches here and all the food was really good, with friendly service always. The location of the hotel is great with approximately 15 minutes walk into Sami or a couple of minutes into Karavomilos village. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sami Beach hotel and hope to return.

After researching and reading reviews that people return year after year we booked 9 nights in a sea view room. We were not disappointed. From the moment that Billy picked us up from the airport to the moment he dropped us back again we were made to feel welcome. Spiros and his family and all the staff go out of their way to make sure everything is ok for you. They always have a smile on their face. It is a lovely setting right on the beach. The pool was never too busy and there were plenty of sun beds and tables and chairs for use during the day. Pool towels are available at the hotel. The bar is open all through the day up till midnight with option for lunch between 12-4. We paid for breakfast and it was a varied selection with cooked food to breads fruit salads yogurt. There is a couple of tavernas at Karavomylos but there are plenty along the front in Sami which is around a 15 minute walk along the promenade. It is just so lovely sitting there on the waterfront at night. Caroline on reception booked us a boat trip to Ithaca which was beautiful and very worthwhile. Rooms have everything you need with kettle and fridge. The only thing I wish I had brought with me was my hairdryer. On the day we left we had to vacate our room and leave our luggage in reception but downstairs is a bathroom with shower etc so we could freshen up before leaving. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and definitely want to return. Can thoroughly recommend. Thank you.

The hotel is very popular with returning couples and I can understand why but the rooms are very overpriced for the standard. At €130 a night without a sea view, I’d hope for lovely with things like a proper working plug in hairdryer, rather than the old 60s on the wall with a tube things, I’d hope for lovely toiletries and above average decor. I’ve paid a lot less than this for a much nicer 1 bed apartment in a beachfront location in Kefalonia with a sea view. The bar is good although expensive - I think €5 a glass for wine when locally that’s the price of a half litre, is expensive but it is a hotel. The pool is fabulous, the staff generally helpful and it’s a fantastic breakfast. Somewhat aggravatingly when I arrived and ordered bread and tzatziki for lunch, I was given two pieces of bread. When I asked for another, I was told that was the portion size for one person. I didn’t receive the extra slice. It’s also a place where beds are booked first thing in the morning regardless of whether or not they are used all day and as there’s not a lot of shade around the pool, and beds can be tight too, that’s also aggravating. I liked it well enough but it is overpriced and there are much nicer places to stay on the island. I feel like they are exploiting their returning guests tbh.
