Hotel Belvedere Playa Samara Costa Rica

Nice clean, convenient location in Samara. The rooms and pool were very nice. I would not recommend the breakfast but there are many places to eat nearby. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. One of the nicer places in Samara. The staff were all very nice and responsive to all of our needs

Great hotel at an excellent value. I lucked out and received a little cabin detached from the main building. Totally surprised by the accomodations with a pool right outside my door. The location was in town and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Samara. The room was clean and the amenities were great. I would definitey come again.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere. The room was nice and clean. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the location was good. The Woman who seemed to run the hotel was very gracious and helpful. The breakfast here was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. I highly recommend Hotel Belvedere if you are coming to Samara.

I had an AMAZING INTERACTIVE NATURE EXPERIENCE IN THIS QUIET BOUTIQUE HOTEL! I had the best views of monkeys, birds, and iguanas ON THE PROPERTY! The property is immaculate! Lush flora is everywhere! A quick walk to the beach and markets! I FELT VERY SAFE WALKING around at night! So many great food choices before you even hit the beach spots! A left turn takes you to Casa Esmerelda, which is a great Soda! I enjoyed a great breakfast personally made for me daily! I am grateful to the owners WHO HELPED PULL OFF A TERRIFIC 60 th BIRTHDAY SURPRISE FOR ME! My travel agent Costa Rica Traveling Tours by Amanda booked my stay there initially. She then worked with the owners and my family to SURPRISE ME THERE ON THE LAST LEG OF MY 13 DAY TRIP! Unforgettable! There's a mini supermarket and a small shopping plaza directly across the street from the hotel! There's fabulous ice cream and CAKES BY CHRISTIE! There's several markets and shopping options within 5 minutes walk. The roads can be rocky. An ATV or 4x4 is best! The ATV tour was right at the corner and afterwards I rented an ATV for the next morning. Thanks Tony! I rode 100km from the hotel, to Nicoya and over to Nosara! I had a chance to check out the numerous Hostels and hotels. I ended up LOVING Hotel Belvedere for its ambiance and luxury for the money!

We have stayed at numerous accommodations over the last twenty some years . From large resorts to small boutique to vrbo. And I can say that this boutique hotel is one of the absolute best we have stayed at. The owners are exceptional in every way imaginable. All of their suggestions for things to do as well as restaurants to eat at have been absolutely bang on perfect. The owners are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make sure that everything is as close to perfect as possible. We are here for one more night. 5 nights in total. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and the room was like brand new. Pool right outside our door. The breakfasts were fantastic. The breakfast is at a cost of 12$ USD. Huge variety of food every day. Rooms are very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone! Would absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area. It’s only a short walk to the beach or anywhere else in town.

We got very lucky and found this place just when we needed it! As 50+ ye olds we were staying at a hostel with young people and no air! It was also very run down. We managed 3 nights and checked into this beautiful hotel. The landscaping and plants are just amazing. Also had a beautiful pool and A/C! Monfred owns this gem and he has been there 30 years. Very close to town. 5 min walk but quiet location. Perfect spot!!
