Nice resort. Lots of activites for everyone. Close to beach and shopping. Ver safe area. We stayed here before going to Port Aventura.

Just had a lovely stay at this hotel with family. Adults and children all had a great time. It is a big beautiful hotel, which I would say seemed to have more Spanish and French guests than British at time of stay (late aug-early sep) however did not put me off it added to atmosphere of being away on holiday. Same with kids entertainment/disco -mainly in Spanish and French but kids still loved it. Highlights- outdoor pool was great, kids and I loved it- they had 2 different types of slides-kids and I spent hours here most days. Nice selection of soft drinks/alcoholic/cocktails/mocktails, milkshake,slushies for kids at pool bar. Room was cleaned everyday&towels changed. The beach is a few mins walk-Pineda beach was a lovely sandy beach,warm sea-nice shops (La Pineda is a nice area- not too busy but good selection of shops, restaurants) Food- breakfast-choice of full English (bacon and sausage not my favourite style-but different countries have different styles. Plenty of pastries, breads , cheeses , fruit. Dinner and lunch-seafood everyday, chips and pasta for kids everyday, pizza and fishfingers a few days,lots of salad, different meats, bread. Kids loved the self service ice cream. The restaurant was quite busy with people and quite noisy when we stayed. Didn’t take ages to select your food just busy with lots of people-there were quieter areas you could sit in conservatory and patio bit. One night there was a long queue to get in restaurant-may have been a one off as was only evening, just need to try and pick your times right. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

We are on our 4th day here hotel is beautiful but the food doesnt cater for the british in any way. For breakfast the bacon is very odd not sure what country it is inspired by, the sausage was tinned hot dogs fried or german sausage, the scrambled eggs are rubbery and cold and the fried eggs were cold and constantly running low however the spanish and german food range was plentiful. Dinner and evening meal were to a similar standard except a 20 minute wait while they cooked a dozen pork chops at a time for a queue of a few hundred people. On one night the hot option for dinner was fish, sea food, sea food, sea food and 1 halal pork. The snack bar, shameful, a smaller version of the restaurant food left there for hours at a time to get cold, there were toasties available but only until 1pm, absolutely spoiled our experience. I shouldn't have to be ashamed for wanting british foods for our family. Entertainment every night but could not understand as it was in spanish. Majority of the staff did not understand a word of english which made it very difficult to communicate. Completely ruined our experience as we were hungry every day.

The space was insufficient to accommodate the number of guests, leading to long waits, sometimes over an hour, just to be seated for lunch. In summary, while the pool and outdoor facilities offer a pleasant experience, the hotel’s overcrowded nature and subpar dining situation significantly detract from the overall quality. Improvements in these areas would be necessary for a more enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the hotel and the kids loved the awesome animation team. The pool is very nice and no chlorine smell. Most guests were French I think, looked like we were the only Dutcj tourists. Does not matter, makes me feel more on holiday. The town and the boulevard is ok, not very special, the view on Tarragona industrial beach is not very attractive. It is on walking distance to Salou, which does have a nice boulevard but so very crowded, coming back to La Pineda is a reassurance. We enjoyed it and hope to come back. This hotel is fabulous. Ideal for families. The entertainment team were exceptionally hard working. The facilities are wonderful. Everywhere is immaculately clean and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Only two points, neither of which are criticisms but observations. 1. If you lose your door card and ask for a new one, reception hand them out without checking who you are. 2. No vegan options. We were away with a vegan family and there was little choice! Please could you start by perhaps making a vegan pizza?

We visited this hotel several years ago and had a great time… however there were a number of problems this time round. Upon check in, we were assigned a room and upon entering the room; there was already people in it, asleep. We returned to reception (who were very helpful & apologetic) to be given a new room. Imagine our horror when we again entered the new room and AGAIN there was somebody in it… the gentleman in the room chased after us and punched the lift door as we returned to reception. Being a female with a 12 yr old daughter we were Incredibly scared & anxious by this point. Finally in a room, the key card broke 6 times during the week despite them being nowhere near a phone. We returned one day to dirty bedding ( see photos) and had to go and exchange this and make our beds up ourselves at 11.30pm. On day 3, the lift malfunctioned and we were stuck in it for around 20 mins awaiting help. I appreciate this happens but this is my worst fear and left me having a panic attack inside the lift. Finally, I don’t remember the music being this loud last time, the music is LOUD & THUMPING non stop for 13 hours every day. You can hear it everywhere & can’t escape. There’s not much effort made with the kids at night time; they just stick Just Dance on which requires zero input or effort. The entertainment, aside from the cowboy night, was utterly dismal. The only positives I have are the staff; the staff on the night shift on 5th Sept were in particular incredible, and the rest were always polite and helpful. Food is okay, pool areas lovely. However overall I’m incredibly disappointed by this visit and will try somewhere else next time, which is a shame.

Spent 1 week mid September, hotel is really good relative to the cost. Food - typical AI stuff but plenty of choice with some live cooking. Some variety day to day but mostly the same Location - great! Few mins walk to the large sandy beach. Close to bus stops. Taxis out front. Staff - all friendly and helpful. Learn at least some phrases in Spanish Drinks - beer, wine and local spirits. Several cocktails on AI - they are not that good but that's to be expected on AI. Branded spirits available but for extra cost. 1€ gets you a cup, you have to bring it back to get a new drink but no limit on how many cups you can have. Slightly annoying but you get used to it Entertainment - something on every night (music /dance) until 11pm ish Negatives -rooms do have aircon but it's still hot at night and this is in September, best guess it's around 23°C. I do prefer to sleep in cool room so I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue for some
