Très bon hôtel, propre. Recommande +++. Chambre pas faite pendant 3jours seule petit soucis (compréhensible vu le nombre de chambre dans l’hôtel) très satisfaisant tout de même. Petit dej copieux. Reste une bonne expérience.

Such a lovely hotel in a great place close to the theme park and train station not to far from the beach and the main strip. Beautiful hotel very lovely staff very clean, we went on Boxing Day and had such an awesome time. Food was amazing very good choice and something for everyone. Will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed our stay, had a room on the 5th floor looking over Portaventura theme park and it was a nice quiet location. We could see the fireworks in the park every night at 11pm. Not a lot of storage in the room for 3 adults staying. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Shower is in bath and it’s almost impossible not to wet bathroom floor when using the shower. Beds and towels changed daily however there was one day when there had been no bath towels left and it took over an hour with three contacts with reception to get same. Good choice of food for breakfast but on two occasions we noticed the plates were not very clean. There was mayonnaise on the bottom of one plate we picked up and another had chocolate spread on it. Enjoyed the pool and staff at pool bar were very friendly and helpful. We ate lunch there most days, service was good and meals were tasty and very reasonable. No problem getting sun loungers but they all need a good clean. Very handy gateway from pool to shops and beach. Indoor pool was only open from 5-8pm daily and swimming caps are required there. We got a taxi from Barcelona airport to the hotel and it cost €200 and journey time was just over an hour. On way back got bus and reception staff were very helpful in giving us bus details. Think bus cost about €17 per person one way. Train station is only a few minutes walk away and we got train to Barcelona one day for a day trip which was lovely. One thing to note is most of the restaurants in Salou do not offer vegetarian food so choices were very limited. Only exception was the Guinness Tavern and they had good vegetarian and vegan options. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel cleansiness was to a good standard, room was cleaned daily including mopping the floors, and fresh towels everyday, and bed linens were changed. We had a room with 2 singles pushed together and a single sofa bed for our son, my brother had a double bed with a double sofa bed in their room for his family of 4. Air conditioning was free, safe was €18 for our 10 day stay. The hotel caters for British, French and Spanish, so everything is repeated in 3 languages including the entertainment on the evening, which doesn't start until 9pm with kids disco (party dances) then followed by adults entertainment at 10pm with either a quiz, bingo or an outside act like a singer. They did day time activities too such as darts, pool, Frisbee etc competitions where you can win a free drink. There was alot of Spanish schools staying at the hotel, so although they were out during the day, they would fill the pool about 5pm, and the canteen could get busy at certain times. One day we had dinner later than usual at 8:30pm as we had been to the theme park and there was barely any food left, but it was refilled shortly after. Dinner is served from 7pm-9:45pm. The staff that seat you into the dining room were pleasant and welcoming but some of the waiter staff who clear the tables and get the drinks were abit grumpy. Drinks were included at breakfast consisting of a hot drinks machine and a juice machine. No drinks included with evening meal. Food was a hit or miss, some days we struggled to get the kids to eat the options available, so if you have fussy kids i don't recommend, they did have southern fried chicken one night as an option which the kids were happy about, and there is always chips available. There is a salad bar, with made up seafood cocktails and other mini salads with various fish, cheeses, pates etc. There's always a range of bread/rolls, and there is a grill where various meats and fish are cooked on evening and in the morning this is used for the fried eggs with sometimes omelettes, pancakes or streaky bacon. Various desserts available on evening including cheesecakes, profiteroles, tubs of ice cream and jellies for the kids. Breakfast was good with cooked option, and cereals, different bread options for the toast with jams, honey, marmalade available, churros and chocolate hazelnut spread, but no fresh fruit other than occasionally tinned fruit cocktail. Kettles are not provided in room but can be rented from reception at €40, €20 refunded on return, but they are only travel sized and you can purchase one for just €12 at the local supermarkets. Facilities list mini bar but it is not stocked so I'm guessing it will be on request. We stayed in May half term and there were always plenty of sunbeds to use around the pool. The hotel is about 10 minute walk to the shops and 15 mins to the beach. Sunbeds at the beach were €8 each. Close to the hotel on route to shops and beach is a bar called Harry Potters, the food is lower price than those closer

We visited the hotel mid November for 4 nights. The hotel was quite on weekdays, therefore breakfast choices were also limited, but as more guests arrived for the weekend it got better. On our first day the hotel suffered a watercut and there wasn't any water for at least 6hours which was very inconvinient. They never offered any compensation because of it or at least a free drink or something. The hotel was clean, but basic, only shower gel was available, no other toiletries. Rooms wall were very thin, and our neighbours very loud. The hotel is close to Portaventure and not a long walk to the beach. It was ok for sleeping somewhere, although bed was very firm, but for a summer holiday I wouldn't choose this hotel.
