Grand Hotel Billia

We booked a deluxe room online on the hotel’s website right after calling them directly. On the phone, they swore there was no availability and wanted to book us into a higher priced suite or the 4-star hotel next door. Turns out there were multiple deluxe rooms available. The room was overpriced and tired, with damage on floors and walls. We asked to switch rooms and were met with annoyance from the front desk staff who ultimately accommodated (the new room was in the same category but in better conditions). The main issue is the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the front desk and restaurant staff. Service is not what is expected from a 5 star hotel: every interaction/ request (such as asking to book at table at the in house restaurant) is met with annoyance and borderline scorn. Bar and spa staff are kind and friendly. Spa facilities are very good. Breakfast is average.

Multiple families were fortunate to have enjoyed several days together at this beautiful hotel for a family wedding in the area. Our family had three rooms and they were quiet, spacious, modern and equipped with everything needed for an excellent stay. We were able to self park, which was a bonus. The hotel grounds were immaculate, the pool was refreshing after a day of hiking or touring, the breakfast was plentiful, the service was impeccable. Walking distance to the charming town. I highly recommend this hotel.

From far away and on the internet this hotel looks like a gem. But from the moment on when you want to check in, you wish not to come back. It took the two receptionist an eternity to proceed with the check in. All the time they talked to each other and in the phone. They make the guest feel like a big disturbance. They didn t want to accept my credit card as they thought ( wrongly ) it was a debit card. Using a keyboard on the computer? Well one finger is enough for that, isn t it? Explanations where the restaurant is or Spa or Pool or when it is open? No. Hey why should they explain you that, no? And that they had "forgotten" to give my credit card back, well.... When we entered finally our room, our luggage was not yet there ( they had taken it from us after exiting the car ). We gave them 10 more minutes and then called. They said it s on the way, in some seconds it will be there. Gave them 10 minutes more, called again... Ah it s not yet there, they will look and send it immediately. After 10 more minutes I went personally to the reception. Nobody was looking for our luggage. After insisting they started looking, but had no idea where our luggage was. To cut it short we had to wait more then one hour after arriving in our room and got no real excuse... They had put it in a wrong room, but did not know in which one. Finally we were able to use the pool, but only very briefly as they closed it very early. We have an electric car and upon the arrival the two chargers were taken. They promised me that immediately when one is freed they will charge my car. After dinner I went to the car with my second key and you guess it: Both chargers were free, but my car was not plugged in. I had to do it by myself. In the bathroom there are two dispensers for shampoo and soap: One broken, the other empty.. In the restaurant the smell of the fish at the neighbors table... well I wouldn't t eat that... And at the check out they tried to pay us the room twice.... Oh, did I mention that they also had lost our car keys?

Ci tengo a esprimere un'opinione estremamente positiva per questa meravigliosa struttura e per il suo eccezionale staff. Durante il mio soggiorno, ho trovato il personale sempre cortese e disponibile, rendendo ogni interazione piacevole e accogliente. L'ambiente era sempre pulito e confortevole, contribuendo a un'esperienza di relax senza paragoni. La spa, curatissima e super attrezzata, con una piscina calda esterna, ha reso il mio soggiorno davvero indimenticabile. Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chiunque cerchi un'oasi di pace e benessere. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza in questo hotel bellissimo, belle e confortevoli camere, abbiamo apprezzato la pulizia,personale molto gentile e disponibile Ristorante con ottima cucina, ricca colazione, abbiamo apprezzato tutti i piatti del menù, anche il brunch ricco e ottimo, la gentilezza e cortesia di tutto il personale, dal direttore di sala ai camerieri Piscina stupenda con personale attento e gentile Sicuramente ci torneremo!

Struttura voto: 10 gestione dell'Hotel, voto: 2 ad essere generosi, trattandosi di un 5 stelle. Prima camera ricevuta, subito cambiata per problemi alla porta. La nuova camera aveva il frigor rumorosissimo. Hotel a gestione pubblica, credo di proprietà della regione. Il personale non prende nessuna iniziativa per far sentire bene il cliente senza l'autorizzazione di qualche superiore (si basano su protoccolli, detto da loro). Superiore che poi non concede mai nessuna deroga. Ragazzo di 14 anni inibito ad entrare in SPA perchè dalle 13 in poi possono entrare solo i maggiori di 16 anni (???). Per chiedere un eccezione dovevano telefonare ad un superiore ad Aosta. Caffe americano sconosciuto, oridinato per ben 3 volte a colazione, prima arriva un caffè freddo, poi tiepido, poi un caffe espresso doppio. Alla paetenza non caricano la mia valigia nella nostra auto, valigia che rimane in hotel e quando me ne lamento sembrano giustificarsi dicendo che è colpa mia. Dopo 2 giorni la valigia non è ancora arrivatra al mio domicilio. Anche altri dettagli penosi che ometto di elencare. Mai visto niente di simile, sembra gestito ed organizzato dalle poste italiane degli anni '70 dove non vi è nessun reale interesse al benessere del cliente a parte una formalità vacua. il costo naturalmente è però da hotel a 5 stelle

Situé en hauteur dans la vallée d’Aoste avec vue au loin sur la chaîne du Mont Blanc, à 2 pas de l’autoroute parking extérieur, grande bâtisse extérieure avec piscine et centre des congrès. Pas d’évènement ce jour donc l’hôtel est vide. C’est un 5 étoile au prix d’un 3, surprenant. Il ne faut pas se priver de cette occasion quand elle se présente et ça sera plus confortable que les hôtels d’étape à Aoste. Accueil 5 étoiles avec porteur, concierge , grand hall à l’ancienne. Grande chambre refait à neuf moderne (vue sur cour, pour ce prix on ne va pas faire le difficile), quelques petit détails négatifs comme on porte manteaux où il ne reste que la cheville. Wifi correct Spritz et amuses gueules devant la montagne enneigée qui se couche, dans une grande salle bar. Diner dans une élégante pièce un peu intimidante mais les prix ne sont pas si excessifs ,à la carte toutes les spécialités italiennes et verre de vin : salade de fruits de mer . Autre grande salle avec vue pour le petit déjeuner copieux.

Ho soggiornato due giorni in questo meraviglioso hotel. Molto pulito personale gentile Spa ben tenuta ( magari solo ogni tanto controllare la parte fuori se necessita di retino per foglie) Colazione molto buona Sicuramente sarà il mio punto riferimento quando andrò al casinó A presto !!!!

Molto carino… Se devo trovare qualche pecca, in un 5 stelle magari avrai messo un bel topper nel letto. Per il resto pulito personale Disponibile. Location suggestiva. Belle le terme all’interno dell’hotel che danno quel qualcosa in più. Ottimo il passaggio per il casinò.
