The food was inedible, and then the manageress wanted to argue with me, saying that I was lying. quite unacceptable behaviour from obviously a middle-aged woman who had other problems. In particular the steak was like old leather an the pomme frites were soft and reheated

We stayed one night here before taking the ferry from Dieppe. It fitted the bill perfectly. Handy for the beach, in the square, plenty of places to eat and drink within easy walking. The large car park right outside is a real bonus. The room was small but clean. It was very hot, so a fan would have been a nice touch. Breakfast was typical and fine. One drawback was that there was only one person working, and he was rushed off his feet, serving drinks outside. We had to wait quite a while to check in.

Don't come here if you're looking for a pleasant evening in a quiet fishing village. The music pumping from a nearby bar across the main square ruined everything. The rooms are adequate and the bar and restaurant are pleasant enough but don't expect to hear yourself think or be able to sleep. The hotel was full so they were unable to put us in a room away from the thumping noise.

Stayed two nights in late March which we enjoyed. As a party we had four rooms and whilst we did take basic rooms, they were clean and perfectly fine for our stay. From speaking to others and my own experience the showers / bathrooms were the only 'downside' in the facilities - in that the shower cubicles were very small for larger men and whilst I had a slide-door cubicle I was told that others had a shower curtain which just isn't practical with small showers and not in my view hygienic as impossible not to have them sticking to you as you shower etc. We didn't have a chance to eat there for dinner but breakfast was perfectly good and we enjoyed some evening drinks in the bar. Staff are very nice and overall a good stay but would probably recommend a room upgrade from 'basic' - although I have not seen the standard of those rooms.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans.la chambre "luxe" qui ne mérite pas ce terme ! A part la literie, ce n'est pas très luxueux ! La salle de douche est minuscule et il n'y a pas de porte, il n'y a pas de savon pour les mains, ni gel douche. La peinture du bureau et des murs est écaillée et defraichie. Une seule table de chevet et peu de rangement alors qu'il y a largement la place d'en mettre. L'hôtel est bien situé, sur la place mais, c'est très bruyant surtout la nuit. Heureusement, le personnel est très serviable

Je n'avais certes pas réservé, j'étais en promenade. Une table à quand même été trouvée. Il ne faut pas être pressé pour le service mais par contre quand celui arrive,vous avez juste le temps de le manger que l'on vous pousse dehors. C'est scandaleux. R.Bourdon

Un moment agréable en famille. Une cuisine très bonne et un service très aimable et sympathique. Endroit chaleureux avec le soleil qui était au rendez-vous. Mention spécial pour le plat de Cabillaud et son risotto au curry.

Vriendelijke service, goede koffie, gezellige sfeer. Op vrijdag markt in St.Valery en Caux, koffie met Madeleines van het huis, super gezellig. De volle zaak gaf geen aanleiding voor slechte bediening, ze hebben wat geleerd , zie eerdere beoordelingen. Zeker een aanrader om even gezellig te zitten.
