Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman's Reef, Autograph Collection

This booking is a total rip-off from the beginning to end. 1.Make sure you have free cancelation because you will surely use it. 2. Just know that there are extensive hidden fees including paying for paddle boarding, scuba diving, etc whether you use them or not all guest are required to pay at the end amongst other things. 3.Customer Service was horrific from beginning to end starting with long check in wait times without any acknowledgement also don't expect them to initially fill you in on the astronomical fees that they tack on in the end.Also, upon finding out they placed me on a ground level floor facing all the foot traffic opposite of any ocean or scenic views, I was promised a room change the following day which never happened for the duration of my stay. 4. Room service surprisingly came to my room at 8pm inquiring about service which was bizarre. 5.Food is insanely expensive including room servic delivery. I paid almost $50 for a small sized pizza at the low end restaurant.Free Breakfast which was listed upon booking as well as on my receipt was anything but free so be where.They told me upon checkout it is only $80 but there is nowhere stating that information. One hostess at Salt shack told me it would would be a 20minute wait for breakfast or I can try a buffet upstairs but after walking in the hotsun upstairs there was no buffet or restaurant and so the 20 minute wait continued. 6.Overall hiddeen fees were were astronomical.This is a 2star rating at best.i hate that I chose this place for my stay it was a total rip off!

We came for our 40th Anniversary. The resort is even more beautiful than the pictures. The food was fantastic at all of their restaurants. Everyone on staff was amazing and so attentive. The place was immaculate. Super clean and looked and smelled brand new. Our pool side attendant Belto was so sweet and so kind. He brought us anniversary gifts and was so attentive poolside. He was so friendly , we wanted to take him home with us. Ja’Kalah was so sweet also. She was such a great server and also made a big deal about our Anniversary. It was a perfect experience and we will definitely be back!!!! Thank you Buoy House and Staff! Amazing

Shout out to everyone at Buoy Haus, especially Marie, Margot, and Wendy. The service here is amazing, and we are very thankful for the opportunity to spend time at this beautiful location with such a caring and focused team. We plan to return very soon.

I will say that Shay-lin & Michelle are the best bartenders ever. If staying here I recommend drinking with them. No One else.will always drink with them When I am Here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I planned this last minute trip & couldn’t have had a better experience. Unfortunately, we arrived 1 day after Tropical Storm Ernesto. Fortunately, this resort/their workers did everything possible to ensure an amazing time was had, regardless. We weren’t allowed on the beaches bc of the storm, but staying at the pool at this resort was enough. Having access to the Westin was SO nice and the shuttle was very convenient. Everything was so clean and the workers were beyond gracious. Our favorite worker was Ron, the bartender at the Sand Bar. He truly made us the best drinks we have ever had and was so friendly and fun to talk to. We made jokes that we would come back just for him! Jamal, who helps out at the pool was also amazing and so gracious!!! Truly can’t say enough good things about this spot. Will definitely be back in the future!

Spectacular views, beach, balcony and pool areas. The staff is very friendly and attentive! Love the food and restaurants 😋. The landscaping and walking paths are nicely lit, and makes for great exercise on your trip. We would definitely come back here again!

As soon as you arrive you see this open lobby that looks right into the water. The view is spectacular. We got the exact took I wanted which was an ocean view room. Checkin was easy. I chose this hotel because it’s more boutique. Our room was nice size, a good seating soda area. The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked well, and the balcony was just perfect to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The cleaning ladies did a great job. Loved our room. Now for the pool, which was the reason I chose this hotel. It was such a great infinite pool, good size, beautiful view and best of the lounge chairs had the comfortable cushions on them!! And the staff so helpful and nice. Loved the Salty Shack to eat. It’s right in the water next to the pool and there al ate a breeze. There’s a great jacuzzi as well. Overall a great stay!

Good afternoon Micah and Maria, As promised, we wanted to follow-up regarding our time at Morningstar Buoy Haus. As sad and disappointed as we were to find out that the beach was closed when we checked in, many, many of you made our vacation FABULOUS! As I said to Micah, we wanted to leave and want to come back as soon as possible. That was not the case when we checked in. And now, due to many efforts, we cannot wait to be back! As you know, we could have checked into a 5 star hotel in Massachusetts and enjoyed an Infinity pool without having to pay any airline cost. We have been to Morningstar before and picked your property specifically for the beach. You know how we felt...we wanted to go home right away. However, as Micah stated in our first phone conversation, "the people are what make the resort special" and he asked us to give it a chance. And we put our trust in the two of you. We learned through the GREAT efforts of the 2 of you, as well as the efforts of Nash, to Wendy, to Pierre, to Shakeem, to Jamaal, and many, many others, that several things made the vacation so wonderful! The efforts of not only both of you or the specific people mentioned above, but from EVERYONE in all Departments went above and beyond to assure that our vacation was not a bust, even though we only had 2/6 days on the beach. We will be forever grateful for these efforts and I will post this on TripAdvisor as well. Please be sure to share this with your Team, especially the people mentioned in this email. They are true PROFESSIONALS, as are all the people that are part of your Team! We believe that this is what makes Morningstar Buoy Haus so special and you all will be near and dear to our hearts! We arrived just after hurricane Ernesto-so the island was not up to it's normal standards. But this hotel-Wow! The service was great, the front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. BIG SHOUT out to MICAH! Thanks for acknowledging my husband's birthday! Super sweet! The hotel is customer focused.
