Hôtel de Tourrel, Saint Rémy de Provence, a Member of Design Hotels

What a fabulous place! My wife and I enjoyed EVERY minute of our four night stay. We were in Room Three (the stone wall room) and it is even more grand than the photos suggest. Super comfortable, amazing bathroom with a rainfall shower that is twelve feet tall, and a very modern control panel that takes care of everything from temperature to automated curtains. And the staff is so helpful and courteous, they were there every step of the way to help make our visit more comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is the location is hidden away on a side street, so if you're driving in I would suggest calling when you are close so they can assist you with your bags and parking and show you where to go upon arrival. And although we didn't take advantage of the Michelin star restaurant, every night we would pass an open door to views the interior of the restaurant and it looked divine. They also provide a reasonably priced breakfast every morning upon demand. We have traveled all over the world and this place ranks at the top of our list for comfort and service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The room was comfortable, location excellent, but the staff were the best. Special VIP service from Camille, always making sure that we had everything we wanted. She arranged a tour guide hire, recommended wineries for tastings, and even arranged a late night cheese plate. It was well worth the cost. Quick note: the hotel's parking lot is 10 minutes away, and the parking is pretty tight getting in and out. If you're not staying on a market day, consider just paying for parking at the convenient nearby parking lot. Especially if you're spending most days out and about, since parking is free except 9am-6pm. AND you can buy your parking ticket for the following morning on the evening before.

The perfect home for your St Remy visit. Let's start with location. The hotel is ensconsed in the heart of St Remy, inside the old town with nothing more than a five minute walk away. Tucked down a little alley away from the traffic. Couldn't be more convenient. The hotel itself is a stunning mix of old and new. Situated in an old mansion, the design is clean and modern, but with all the old elements you like to see. A cozy rooftop bar overlooking the cathedral and only a handful of rooms make this feel more like a private club than a hotel. The rooms are clean, modern in design and have all the amenities you would expect, with giant windows that open to the street. We're not breakfast eaters, so I cannot comment on that, but they do offer breakfast in the same room that houses their Michelin started restaurant. Parking is about a block away. The small, friendly staff contribute to the private club feel of the hotel. They helped with bags, reservations, transfers, answered questions, made suggestions, all with a smile. And be sure to visit the wine shop adjacent to and affiliated with the hotel, where you can get a crash course on everything having to do with French wine. Nice people who make for a pleasant stay. The overall vibe is that you're not at a hotel but in a really nice private club. It is a perfect place to stay to explore St Remy and Provence more generally. We will return!

Small and very charming hotel in an ideal location in Saint Remy. I loved my room (Suite #2 with the sofa and fireplace). The staff were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants in Saint Remy, Arles, and wine tasting in Chateau Neuf Du Pape. We really enjoyed the hotel's Michelin starred restaurant -- great wine suggestions from sommelier.

Simple effective superb with the goal of getting everything right which it does in every respect. I have to start with the staff who made sure that the stay was flawless and organised to perfection meaning we could simply relax and enjoy. The room Sept was marvellous with a private terrace and quiet also nicely close to the pool. The rooftop and main restaurants were a total joy, and beyond expectations for its single star, the tomato dish was memorably exceptional plus. Breakfast was the best of ingredients and where we were well looked after including the excellent eggs and omelettes. We never revisit anywhere but here we realised that if one finds something this good then the discovery effort is only worthwhile if one does return to the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay and everything you did for us.

This gorgeous 17th century boutique hotel in the old section of Saint Remy is a treasure. Beginning with the above-and-beyond warmth and attention from hotel manager Camille who walked us to our car park, and her fellow staff member Chloe, we were shown to our lovely, spotless and well appointed room with views of the ancient town. Fluffy robes, a Nespresso machine, and a marble bathroom. Breakfast, which is extra, was delicious, the staff was warm and friendly. We treated ourselves to dinner at their Michelin restaurant which was truly amazing and memorable, in every way. We were kind of spoiled for the rest of our trip.
