The Inn on Third

Enjoyed our stay! Friendly and helpful staff, clean room and great location. Good breakfast and happy hour.

Older place, with some charm, but relatively small rooms. Very convenient location, including close to free trolley stop. Pretty good breakfast, and wine in the evenings was a nice touch. Guests tend to congregate in lobby area and talk, which was nice.

This is a lovely little hotel, and I would love to stay there again, in a different room. In the room I was in the bed was like sleeping on a pile of plywood it was so hard (I have slept on softer floors and truly think this went beyond being a firm mattress). The pillows were also old and compacted and were no longer soft. If I were to stay here again, I would bring a camping pad to sleep on. The check-in was great, the young man who checked me in was super friendly and helpful with directions in the neighborhood. There is a happy hour in the lobby which was a nice addition. I left before breakfast, but also think that is a lovely addition. It was super clean, and I felt safe. I also appreciate the parking being included.

This was a great places to stay, everything is close by and the staff was great. Free parking and great morning coffee.

A quaint overnight. If you like historical, cozy, & extraordinary, you'll love it. As an inn since 1937, accomodations are on the small side but filled with inviting antiques & character at every turn. Guests are invited to mingle during happy hour & continental breakfast in the lobby area. If you want to step out of your comfort zone of the common big box hotel, this is it!

Don't expect a grand 5 star hotel experience. The Inn on Third is a simple, clean, comfortable hotel. No fancy thrills, but very nice staff and serviceable rooms.

This is our 8th/9th time staying at The Inn on Third! We love staying here. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The Inn is always clean and our rooms are phenomenal. Every evening, they have social hour for all guests that are staying here. The location is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Will be returning to St. Petersburg and will always select The Inn on Third.

I came to St. Pete this weekend to attend a Comic-Con at the Coliseum and this Inn was right within walking distance and had great reviews, so I decided to book my stay here and I’m so glad I did! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Brian helped me when I first got there and him and his family were so nice, he told me a bunch about the area and was actually interested in why I was in town. Everyone I met took the time to talk to you and make sure your stay was going well, absolutely amazing costumer service! I am autistic and pretty introverted and I was staying here alone this weekend (my dad came with me, but he came along last minute so he had to stay at a different hotel farther away) so I was very nervous about staying at a hotel in a different state alone for the first time. But the friendliness of the staff and just the overall atmosphere made me feel comfortable staying here and I had a really great stay! It’s a very vintage style building which I thought was really cool, and it’s within walking distance of a ton of restaurants/fast food and things to do (the coliseum, pier, museums, parks, etc.). If you’re looking for a nice, quiet and “homey” place to stay for a weekend or longer with great staff, I definitely recommend booking a room here! I plan on attending next years Comic-Con and will definitely be coming back to stay here if I do!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Inn on Third. It is within easy walking distance of Central Avenue and two free trolleys. There is a generous breakfast of juice, coffee, cereal, muffins, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, and fruit. In the evenings, there is a social hour with wine and beer. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. In the lobby is a cute little sign that says the number of days until Santa arrives. We now have a sign here at home that says the number of days until our next arrival at The Inn on Third. We are looking forward to our next stay there!
