My husband and I stayed 5 weeks at 9 Chipman Hill, suite #5. This is an historic building that begs your imagination about its use as a home a hundred years ago. Today it lends itself to being a home away from home. Plus, it is in the heart of Saint John allowing for lots of exploring….read: great location! Parking was not an issue as we had an assigned spot very close to the main entrance and no stairs to navigate to our suite. Modern day conveniences like a comfy king size bed with multiple pillows was an added bonus. Our suite allowed us to prepare meals. All appliances including a dishwasher were in working order. All the cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and cutlery were available. The suite was clean upon arrival and was kept clean on a weekly basis. Our personal belongings were treated with respect by Oksana (sp?) our housekeeper. A washer and dryer and free eco friendly detergent made laundry easy. Check-in was contactless. However there was a follow up email to ensure everything met our expectations. Plus we had a contact phone number for any emergency that might occur. There were so many extras. One being the library of books available. Our car was even cleared off on mornings when it snowed. Kudos to Chipman Hill Suites and the staff who were so friendly, supportive and helpful.

stayed here with my husband for valentine’s day. BEAUTIFUL room. had the most lovely time at this gorgeous location. we can’t wait to come back and stay here again. seriously worth the money for about the same price as a hotel this was a way better experience then you’d get at a hotel. guaranteed.

Great location. Beautiful heritage building. Our suite was exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished. The little details made us feel special and did not go unnoticed. We will be telling our family and friends about this gem. Looking forward to staying at Chipman Hill Suites again!

The bed and the pillows are perfect! The location and everything it offers is amazing and very convenient! We are extremely please :) I travelled with my two children (10 and 16) and we all agreed this is so much more than a « place to sleep » it a home away from home :) Staff is extremely helpful and friendly !! Can’t Waite to return

Beautiful room, very clean, comfortable bed. Our only issue is to do with accesability, we are in agreement with a previous review regarding the entrance way stairs, we are in our 70s, and while we are still healthy enough to manage stairs, a hand rail would have come in handy, it was quite a struggle bringing up our bags,
