The hotel looks like a hostel in many places. The rooms are really small, I could just about put my suitcase on the floor. The lift also looks in need of an overhaul.
I booked the breakfast, it's okay, but nothing special. The service is generally inadequate. I had an emergency one night and asked the reception staff for help. They didn't care at first and wanted to send me away again. After I complained, they at least gave me an address. That's not something you want when you need help in a foreign country.
I definitely won't be staying there again.

Hotel looks amazing however on night two we woke up with bug bites all over our body. We informed the hotel staff and they were willing to swap our rooms out and gave us trash bags to go to the laundry mat (no laundry service provided and we had to pay for it). When we go to inspect the other room bedding had hair all over it and makeup. Bed was just made and floor was disgusting.
We picked up and just ended our trip early. On the way home my friends had a severe reaction to the bug bites that ended with us spending the night in the hospital. We are on 12 hours of deep cleaning and still waiting on my car to get detailed. Hotel did refund us the entire stay but this hotel is complete trash.

It was simple, not super fancy, but very cool urban chic style. Great service, and accomodation. Woul like if the bar had more food options.

3 nights in November. Snow outside but was warm in room. Comfy clean bed. Bathroom good.
Some noise from neighbouring rooms on the Saturday night.
Lots of cafes nearby if you don’t go for hotel breakfast.
Easy walk to tramlines into town or totally walkable to Louise area.
Nice rooftop bar. Good views.
Swimming pool more of an outdoor hot tub and too cold without dressing gowns, etc
Sauna is not part of hotel facilities - need to pay extra

Original property with a good vibe. The corridors are a bit narrow and dark; and the reception area is a bit small. But the staff is nice, the restaurant original and trendy, the room comfortable even if with an industrial look.
The bathroom is a bit simple (small, shower curtain, old school look..), but still comfortable to use and clean.
I was not able to see the terrace and the pool as it was closed because of repairs in the staircase (and because it was in November I guess). It was easy to access the fitness gym in the neighborhood. Very cool hotel overall.

our stay at the Jam hotel was good. The only thing I can fault is that the linens and towels were stained. I only got a very small towel for the shower and it was stained. The room was otherwise basic but clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat and the rooftop bar is lovely.

Hotel is lovely and full of character.
Beds comfy and nice touch with coffee maker.
Decent location with plenty of places to eat and several bars.
Recommend Arion (under 5 mins away) for a relaxed excellent quality dinning experience.
Swimming pool nice to relax after busy day walking though a dip pool rather than swimming. Downside there was a private party there so most tables reserved and couldnt relax and enjoy the area.
Negatives
NOISE we were in room 114 and there was ridiculous amounts of noise from restaurant below when setting up and more importantly until 1 at night. Emptying empty bottles and lots of banging and crashing. Starts again at 6am so frustrating, recommend taking ear plugs.

The hotel is well locate and had transport options really nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and it was an ok stay. Towels were never changed , they stayed wet in the room for 3 days. Curtain in the shower was dirty since day 1. Staff was agreeably and helpful though. Another remark is, if you go to the swimming pool bring your own towel, there was no towel available near the swimming pool area.
