Best Western Premier Hotel des Vignes et des Anges

Wir haben kürzlich in diesem Hotel übernachtet und waren beeindruckt von der Qualität der Renovierung. Die Zimmer sind modern, gut gepflegt und makellos sauber. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, abseits der Straße gelegen, und einige verfügen sogar über eine kleine Terrasse, was ein echtes Plus ist. Die Hotelbesitzerin ist ebenfalls sehr gastfreundlich und sorgt dafür, dass sich die Gäste willkommen fühlen. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens für einen komfortablen und angenehmen Aufenthalt empfehlen!

This is now a Best Western hotel, rated four stars. The room was good, and included a coffee machine and a small fridge. The best thing about the place is the restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, all the courses were delicious. There was only one demi-bouteille of red available but it was very good and reasonably priced.

This is the hotel Pauillac has needed for a long time! The rooms are fresh and new. Clean, comfortable and have all the amenities. The restaurant is fabulous and some of the best meals I had on my trip. Can't wait to return in the summer.

Very fresh, clean and fully renovated with nice rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Back yard is very nice. Breakfast is quid good with freshly baked breads and pastry’s. In a very good location. A la Cart menu looks nice but we didn’t have the time to enjoy it. Fully recommend

This was a one night stop, place was clean but very tired, there is a lift. However, the restaurant was down some very steep stairs. We stayed there on a Monday night so most restaurants closed, leaving us the option of eating in the hotel, whose menu was meat driven. I do wish that these older hotels would put in walk in showers and not over baths.

This is a great hotel. The location by the river is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable- the bed was wonderful! Breakfast service started at 6.30 which was perfect for us and the meal in the evening was very high quality. I recommend this as a great base from which to tour the Médoc.

Looking for a restaurant with terrace? This restaurant is just everything you would expect of french cuisine ; great taste and also really nice owner! He gives great wine advice and the food is pure and of of great taste. Just go for it on the nice terrace.

The location of this Hotel is good on a reasonably quiet road along the river front. A couple of restaurants a few metres away and a large supermarket about 1km away. The hotel itself is tired and worn out, tatty stained carpets and aging fixtures. My room was a double with en-suite. You could just about walk around the double bed and then squeeze into the bathroom, it was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. There was one plug socket in the whole room, way up behind the wall mounted TV, and then an extension socket hanging off that for the lamp, TV and fan. No USB's of course. The bedroom carpet was old with multiple coffee and drink stains, with the occasional cigarette burn. The bedroom curtain was hanging off at both ends but so high I could not fix it myself. The bathroom curtain was not long enough to touch the bath!!! Who fitted that and then thought it was ok? And who in management approved it? And of course no shaver plugs. Most disappointing of all was while sitting in the lounge/bar at approx 7:30pm we asked if we could have coffee and the waitress said no, only with a meal in the restaurant!! There were no other cafe's along the ***** open so we were stuck. 90 minutes later the same waitress returned and then offered us coffee! Breakfast was fixed price at 10 Euros each, expensive for a croissant and coffee. You could have ham and cheese too but no option for a light breakfast. I would actually stay there again believe it or not, it was clean, safe and cosy, but it could be so much better though.
