Hotel am Markt

The food (we all had pizza) was ok, but the service let the whole thing down. I can only describe it at brusque. Not an ounce of warmth could be detected and we felt largely like an inconvenience. One of the staff knocked a beer over a pizza when putting another down. No real apology, the pizza was replaced but the beer wasn’t. When we asked for a replacement a small beer was brought out to replace the spilt large beer. When we commented on how that wasn’t what we expected, it was clear they felt we were being difficult. Lots of other nice restaurants in this lovely little town. Give them your custom instead.

Food and service was good and the staff excellent, considering we were a group of 80 plus persons. We were seated outside by the edge of the river and waterfall. Excellent ambiance, lovely weather but due to the compact size of the market place in general a rather strong wind spoilt it somewhat. Has we were only here to eat I'm unable to comment on the hotel itself.

Nettes Haus in zentraler Lage mit schönen großen Zimmern und bequemen Betten, einige private Parkplätze in der Nähe - kostenpflichtig u müssen reserviert werden, macht aber Sinn, denn die öffentlichen am Haus sind kaum zu kriegen! Alles in allem empfehlenswert!!

Schlechter bis gar kein WiFi Empfang auf dem Zimmer. Unkomfortable Dusche in der Badewanne, man muss sich zur Kontrolle des Wassers jedes Mal bücken. Kein Licht am Badspiegel. Und die Aufforderung sich selbst bei der Polizei zu melden wenn die Nachbarn laut sind (siehe Bild) ist schon unverschämt, wenn mein Wohlbefinden wichtig wäre, dann sollte das Hotel für Ruhe sorgen. Nachts gab es aber nur Geräusche von den Menschen die über mir rumgetrampelt sind.

Bereits bei der Buchung am Telefon wurde ich sehr nett, informativ und kompetent beraten...obendrauf gab's ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrate! Super netter, herzlicher Empfang! Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes haben wir uns wir sehe Willkommene Gäste gefühlt, was ebenfalls für das Hotelrestaurant gilt! Ehrleche Freundlichkeit wie man sie leider nicht in jedem Hotel erfährt! Lage: Top! Zimmer, die Suite vorne raus, absolut toll. Bequemes Bett, modernisiertes Bad! Winziger Nachteil im Sommer: keine Klimaanlage...aber mit offenem Fenster erträglich. Man muss sich natürlich bewusst sein, dass die Lagevorne raus zum Marktplatz nocht immer ganz ruhig ist, was uns gar nicht störte, denn wer direkt am Markt/Mittendrin bucht, weiß das vorher! Bei geschlossenem Fenster aber kein Problem. Wunderbare Plätze im Restaurant draußen wie drinnen und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis passt! Essen ebenfalls gut, Freundlichkeit der Kellner -nochmal zu erwähnen - toll! Parkplätze hinterm Haus vorhanden, in einer nahegelegenen Parkgarage ebenfalls buchbar und auch nahgelenene kostenfreie Parkplätze im Ort! Rund um klasse und empfehlenswert!!
