Mountain Meadows Lodge

Mountain Meadows is a clean and modern place to stay while on a Killington ski vacation. The grounds and the locale are gorgeous. We stayed in the Mountainview Suite which is plenty big. The included breakfast was excellent. There is a severe lack of drawers, hanger, and shelf space. The bathroom has no shelf space whatsoever. This was a liability on a ski vacation loaded with gear. Water is a precious commodity in all of Killington. In an effort to conserve water, the bathroom sink faucet is a trickle at best, the toilet is low water use and the shower has very little pressure. I think this is true for all of Killington. I understand the desire to conserve water, but it was annoying for this traveler.

Nice place. Close to the mountain. Nice aesthetic quaint and homey feel but also clean new and well kept. Hotel restaurant is a bit mediocre but not too bad. Good service so far on my trip too.

We checked in on a Monday and found the restaurant was closed, even though we have made a reservation only a couple weeks before. We weren’t the only couple who had made a reservation and no one told us it was closed. The woman at the front desk was actually going to cook us dinner since they didn’t have a chef which was sweet but we declined the offer. The bar was open on Monday but closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We had some wine down stairs on Tuesday evening and left our dirty glasses on the table. The glasses where still their when we checked out on Thursday. That’s just not caring or they might be waiting for the bar to open on Thursday evening… The room was clean and looks like the photos you see online. We stayed in the same room in 2021 and nothing has changed. We where disappointed that their isn’t any house keeping in the morning. Back in ‘21 it was a normal Covid excuse but for the price we paid I expect to have at least have the bed made, trash emptied and fresh towels. We did ask for towels and they were put in the room as promised. The resort is peaceful and quiet. The Appalachian Trail goes thru the property. Last year we went to a falls near by, it wasn’t super hard but you should bring hiking boots and have a steady foot. We didn’t go this year because of the rain and some areas still have flood damage. The resort is a nice place to relaxed and decompress. I hope they figure out what’s going on and step it up.

Great space! Very clean and affordable compared to some of the options closer to the mountain. Felt very updated and modern. The breakfast is very convenient as well. My only complaint would be the noise at times, it sounded like the people in the room next to me were in the room with me when they were talking.

So we had dinner there it was amazing, chef LaFond came out and brought us our dinner. Witch was cool I’ve never had a chef do that. He made sure everything was good with us took very good care of us you can tell he wants to make sure everyone is having a great time. And you can also tell he’s not just there for a pay check. Now the bartender on the other hand drinks were great service ****** on her phone, doesn’t care, she took to long to come to us never came back to table, she needs work to improve. We will be back chef LaFond is great and I Recommend people to go there his menu is on believable the prices aren’t very high they’re affordable

So I stayed there cause my company paid for it. I had business up in killington and the breakfast the chef was amazing cooked anything I wanted, and he cooked to order and was fast. Then for dinner he was there again I don’t think he goes home lol but the food omg was out of this world. I had deer meat, my wife had veal. Now to top it off we went out for drinks the chef faces us a ride there and back cause there were no taxi’s. We will be going back

A unique opportunity to stay in a beautiful Place. Staff worked so hard and helped with all queries. Great place for walks along Appalachian Trail and easy drive into Woodstock and nearby towns:

Beautiful location manned by a skeleton crew. In the 2 days and nights we visited, there were 2 different people responsible for the kitchen. The hotel manger was also the bartender and part of the cleaning crew. Breakfasts, termed country breakfasts, were steamer trays of eggs, sausage and bacon. One morning we had pancakes. On the second day - French toast. The eggs were hard and dry. Coffee was terrible. Let’s hope the owners get their act together in the kitchen.

Excellent location and a beautiful lake to relax by in the evening. Nice amenities, comfortable rooms, newer lodge, evenings with a fire pit and s’mores to enjoy. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, rooms were nice and bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
