Arrived on Friday afternoon after 3 and walked in to an empty front desk. (Same every time I passed it) I started saying hello and knocking on the countertop. After a couple of minutes a young man walked out, stood and stared at me. No greeting, no anything, just a stare. After a few minutes I asked: Is this a contest to see how long we can stare at each other, then he mumbled something. I asked"Is this the part where you should say hello, welcome to Comfort Inn? He then sort of mumbled "Welcome to Comfort Inn", or something like that. I told him that I have a reservation and am checking in. I had noticed that the area for customers to eat, drink coffee and sit was dark, and that there was a sign stating"No breakfast Until Further Notice". A breakfast and coffee is something I always look for, I asked the young man behind the desk about it. He said no breakfast. I explained that one was advertised on the site where I visited and booked my room. He shrugged his shoulders and said nope. I then asked to speak with the manager. He said there was no manager present. I said that they should go on the internet and correct the ads. He said they weren't able to do that. He then asked for my credit card or a large sum of cash for incidentals, just in case I damaged something. I questioned that, and the silent clery handed me a sign stating that if there was no damage, it would be refunded. I argued that I had used Pay Pal to pay and they didn't need a credit card. He simply pointed this sign. He said that it would be refunded if not necessary. Again...No Manager. I was inclined to leave, but they already had been paid, my granddaughter was graduating from the University the next morning, so I complied and allowed him to use it for $75 I got my key and went to my room. When I got there, I went in and immediately began seeing problems. The bed spread/comforter has a couple of different stains on it, the desk where I typically sit to read or write had food crumbs on it. I went into the bathroom and wow...The rim of the toilet had dark spots, the baseboards were nasty, there is a large stain on the ceiling just above the toilet, no doubt from the toilet up above. The bathroom floors had dried drops of something on it, and the floor also had dirty shoe prints on it. I went back to the desk, but despite my knocking and trying to call someone to help, remained empty. I slept ok, but the next morning when I went out looking for a cup of coffee, there was none, despite advertisements to the contrary. I do have some pictures, but don't know how to get them from my phone to computer. However they could be sent as proof to upper management, if anyone even cares. In short..Horrible place to stay and no one seems to care. My advice is stay somewhere they care about their customers, Use a brand that doesn't lie about amenities and hires people, then trains them to care about the customers. I am through with "Comfort Inns". Oh by the way, I went to the "Comfort Inns" sit
