Seven Generations Winery Hotel

Very good place to relax and share a nice bottle of wine with favoure person. Comfortable bed with large bathroom. Amazing view on nature with amasing sinshine on river Dunabe. Needs some atention on spa conditions.

Took our English friends here today for lunch . I wish we hadn't bothered every one of our meals were awful . Three had ribs which were completely dried out . I had a pork schnitzel again it was dried out and my potatoes were cold . Another friend had a chicken vreast with ham and mozzarella which was tasteless and her mash potatoes were stone cold . Another friend had the Sea Bass again overcooked and dry and the vegetables were rock hard and basically raw . Our waitress was lovely as was our wine but apart from that it was a very poor experience all round . I certainly would never recommend the food or eat there again. Such a shame as the views are stunning .

Stunning location, watching the sunset from our dinner table was incredible. Great food, the menu has a wide range of items available (including vegetarian and vegan options). The wine is amazing. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back!

We were very excited to go to the Winery, however our experience is not so great, not to say disappointing. The room which is quite expensive was dirty (coffee cup on the bathroom floor, hairs. etc.), but the most irritating thing was the service. One of the waiters was eyes rolling at us for two consecutive nights at the restaurant, he was rude, wanted us to pay everything asap, instead of just putting it on the room, and was overall not contributing to a good experience. There were some waiters that were more kind and pleasant, but I guess we weren't "lucky". Another thing that was really shocking for us is that breakfast was included in the price and I got a toast with ketchup on one of the mornings - I think such a place can definitely do better. There is also a professional coffee machine, but they put a self-serve espresso machine in one of the corners with real coffee and real milk. We pointed out that the milk had gone bad on our second breakfast and they made us coffee form the good machine. Too bad though they did not change the bottle of milk and the next person used the same bad quality milk... The place is very beautiful, the view is amazing, but I would not repeat the experience. They should be offering a lot more, at least in terms of service, for such a place. Also, the bottles of their own wine they are selling there, are cheaper on their own online shop....

The hotel has a great location. The cuisine is good, but there was no Danube fish, it is located on the bank of the Danube river. I didn't like that they wanted us to pay for the room before we even saw it. The receptionist was too pushy to the point of being pushy. The room had a nice view, fairly clean, but had stink bugs. Beds have box springs and are uncomfortable. The maids were making a lot of noise at lunchtime, cleaning and arguing in the corridor. We bought wine from the store at the same price as the online store... There is no coffee/tea pot in the rooms and breakfast is late - from 8.30.
