Runde Miljøsenter & Opplev Runde

We had an absolute magical stay at Opplev Runde. The apartment was very light, spacious and clean and the staff was super friendly. In the afternoon we went coasteering, which was a real blast! Floating around in the waves, tasting seaweed and jumping off of rocks.. So fun! And I did not feel cold or unsafe for one second. In the evening we did a puffin safari with dinner, a documentary and exposition visit included. Our guide Johannes knew so much about all the birds and happily answered all of our questions. The food was great, the company even better and the puffins are just SO cute. The hike to the bird cliff was VERY steep at the beginning, but overall really doable. Having a guide with you really adds to the experience, because he helped us find the best spot to see them and we learned so much about the area and all the other birds too. On our way back to the apartment we saw the most magical sunset with a double rainbow.. Probably the prettiest sight I've ever seen. We felt very welcome, did not want to leave and will definitely be back. :)
