Lovely hotel. Had a beautiful room with a huge bath and separate shower
Breakfast was delicious
Staff were very kind
Will definitely stay again when I’m in Tunbridge Wells

Lovely hotel, stayed for a long weekend and used the spa facilities - they gave us a free upgrade which was a nice touch! Beautiful grounds, restaurant was lovely and only a short scenic walk to the town
Only critique was the pool was quite small without much seating available and the sauna was male or female only - but the rest of the stay and amenities more than made up for it!
Also recommend the afternoon tea :)

We stayed in a room on the top floor. It was very warm (and not because of the weather, it rained). The bed wasn’t comfy, the pillows hard. The bathroom tired and in desperate need of upgrade (e.g badly cracked tiles and bath surround of mdf which was painted and didn’t fit the side of the bath).
You can hear everything through the walls and doors slamming. The road immediately outside was busy and noisy.
The pool was small, very busy, and also slightly tired. The gym facilities were old and in two small rooms. Again very busy.
The service was extremely poor. We’d paid for early check in and the room wasn’t ready. One out of three on the check in desk seemed to know what she was doing - the others gave mixed messaging about the time to check in and time for breakfast.
When we got to breakfast, the staff were curt and rude. They said they were very busy from an earlier tour group. They were obviously stressed and hassled. They didn’t take our coffee order, breakfast order - I had to ask. Then I had to ask for toast. Then the breakfast came with items missing because they’d run out (only told me when I queried it). Considering they work in hospitality they were far from hospitable.
Would not stay here again. Way over priced and not value for money.

Hi - it was one of the warmest days this year and the room, having had the afternoon sun was warm. The aircon switch was high up and I had to climb on the furniture to switch it on. Then, the batteries in the remote were almost flat. The batteries in the tv remote were also almost flat. Both were not easy to get working.

Really enjoy staying here. Feel very relaxed with great spa facilities. My wife had a 55 minute massage and said it was excellent. Weren’t 100% happy with the room we were put in but were quickly moved to a much better room with a bath which we were very pleased with. Cannot fault it here really and will definitely return.
