The Angel Hotel

My business colleagues and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend (Friday to Sunday). We had a great experience. The location was excellent close to all the key attractions at Leamington Spa. The breakfast served was nice including hot cooked options. The service came with a smile. Hannah served us with warmth. Mukthtabir at the front desk was happy to accommodate our requests as well as went out of the way to serve Tea to some of our visiting guests. All in all it was a great stay and we would surely recommend this place to anyone who plans to spend couple of days at Leamington Spa.

Food at breakfast was good as was location of hotel. Miserable male receptionist on check in and really miserable female staff at breakfast, never saw a smile once from either. Booked a small double room but did not expect it to be set up as a single room. We only had one cup, one bath towel, one bottle of water,one set of pillows and one bedside cabinet with one bedside light so both couldn't read in bed. I had to clean the bathroom tiles above the sink as there was something on them. The shower over the bath was antiquated and difficult to control. Wi fi was intermittent and required several logins. Parking was £12 per night which we paid on check in, only to be asked for it again on check out. The person who checked us in obviously didn't log the original payment to our room number. It was an expensive stay for what we got and the worst accommodation of our touring holiday in England and Wales. There were other nationwide hotels in the town which appeared to offer cheaper and better rooms.

In currently booked in to this hotel , only for one night thankfully The room was not serviced properly before we arrived only one cup and only one pillow and towel even though they're was two of us in the room . Only a small complaint you would think UNTIL I Entered the bathroom Seems like the last guest liked it that much they left Sh** stains In the toilet So all in all we had to get someone from reception to visit us 3 times to rectify these issues not what you would expect

What a lovely hotel. Perfect location to get around Leamington Spa with parking on site. Staff were attentive and rooms are beautifully decorated. Deserves a 4 star rating.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel in the centre of a very desirable area in the Cotswolds which offers great value for money. It's an older hotel located in a building in the centre of Leamington Spa which has been modernised. Room 21 is an Executive room which has lift access and a walk-in shower. It's a large, corner room with plenty of space and tea/coffee making facilities including decaf coffee. There's adequate hangers and wardrobe space but there's no in-room safe. There's not many available sockets for charging electrical items and the most convenient ones have nothing on which to set the items as they charge. There's a useful 2 drawer bedside cabinet at each side of the bed and a bedside light. The bed is large, comfortable and the pillows are supportive. The rainfall shower is excellent and the non-slip shower tray is very effective. Carparking costs £12 per day and is quite cramped BUT it's cheaper and safer than parking in most of the public car parks or on-street parking. There is also an EV charging point, although it was blocked by scaffolding during our visit. Breakfast offered the usual range of cereals, juices, fruit, yogurts, toast and pastries. The difference is that instead of a luke-warm buffet, you order a freshly cooked hot breakfast, which was excellent. The coffee was very good. I can't recommend this excellent hotel enough although if you have mobility issues ask for a room with access to the lift when booking. We hope to return in 2026 and will definitely be staying here if rooms are available.

A lovely reasonably priced quiet hotel ideally situated for a visit to Leamington Spa near shops and a multitude of eateries. The cooked breakfast, whilst limited to any combination of a Full English, was freshly cooked and of good quality - cereals and pastries were also available. There is a bar but no restaurant which is a shame. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. This is our fourth visit and we'll be back again next year.
