Great location and great service. And great rooms! just good

Filthy. Booked 2 nights. Suite with “Spa tub” has black bottom. Almost every flat surface has cigarette burn marks, but “non smoking”, upholstered chairs and sofa disgustingly stained. Sewage smell in bathroom. Mentioned all this to front desk, she said “301 is our best room”… I told her that is terrifying. We decided to find another hotel, they charged us for both days anyway. “Policy”…426.00 euros. No honor

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional, which made the overall atmosphere uncomfortable. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. They lacked basic courtesy and seemed disinterested in providing any form of hospitality. The rooms were also a major letdown. They looked nothing like the photos in the advertisements. The pictures online portrayed a clean, modern, and welcoming space, but what I encountered was quite the opposite. The room was outdated, poorly maintained, and lacked the comfort I was expecting. It was clear that the images used to promote the hotel were either heavily edited or taken a long time ago. Overall, this stay was far below the standards I anticipated. The combination of unprofessional staff and misleading advertisements made it a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here if you're looking for quality service and an accurate representation of the facilities.

It is about time someone (aka me) wrote a recent review on my stay. This was a great stay. This is small hotel, all the staff super friendly especially both the gentleman on reception. I have seen reviews elsewhere complaining of the breakfast. Just a reminder that this is a 3* hotel and the breakfast is more than adequate to set you up for the day and has all the essentials. The room was spacious, very clean and modestly modern enough especially the bathroom which had lots of space to keep belongings. The small attention detail was nice - towels with the hotel name on, coffee cups with inspiring/funny messages, 2 plug points near the bed, clock in the breakfast room in keeping with the hotel’s link with the port/shipping industry. Note, the rooms have a fan (but they are in the process of installing air conditioning to all the rooms). Only suggestion I have is that the bathroom door in room 103 was a little squeaky (just needs WD40), pillow could be a little less lumpy (but they were more than happy to supply more pillows and still slept very well) and the drinks from the fridge by reception is on the expensive side but all minor points. Location is great. 10 mins walk from Euromast and a few minutes walk from Coolhaven Station, qs a little far from the Centraal Station to walk and even Blaak (where the markethall and cube houses are). All in all, I would definitely stay again. It was a pleasant, relaxing and quiet experience. It felt safe yet cosy. The hotel seemed a little quiet, despite being the weekend, I hope it picks up over the summer. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Een woord vreselijk. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is ver te zoeken. De kamer is vies en alles is kapot. Er is niets wat recht of vast hangt. Gaten in de deur en vlekken en haren op het beddengoed. Bah! En hier moesten wij 180,- per nacht voor betalen ! Wij overnachten op een zaterdagavond dus een beetje drukte verwacht je dan maar ook dit was vreselijk het leek wel een studentenhuis. Van 00:00 tot 05:30 was het een non stop in en uitloop van gasten met veel kabaal, schreeuwpartijen en klinkende drankflessen. Zelfs met oordoppen geen kwartier kunnen slapen. In ons pyjama ‘s morgens vroeg uitgecheckt, wegwezen hier ! Personeel herkend zich nergens in dus enige hulp of coulance naderhand konden wij vergeten. Al met al; de goede recensies begrijp ik niet ? En dit was de ergste hotel ervaring die ik ooit gehad heb. Je kan beter een hostel of een budget hotel boeken. Daar waren mijn ervaringen zelfs beter. Wees gewaarschuwd
