"We had some personal plans that affected our booking and even though we booked with no refundable options, Hotel Carmen was very accomodating to try and help us out. Our only feedback is that we wish their email communication would be more punctual as it took them over 2 weeks to get back to us on our concerns however at the end, their solution when we got there was much appreciated. The staff are all very friendly and the room is okay. It is in a very central location and very close to the beach. "

You have to clear your own table like in a cafeteria; I've never seen anything like it in a hotel. Downstairs near the pool, there's a bar with no staff; you have to go to the bar to order and pay. "An out and out tour hotel in my view but the rooms were superb. We paid extra for a front room and it is most definitely worth it. Serviced daily, had all the mod cons and we wanted for nothing. Buffet breakfast very good indeed. The service very good too and the staff very helpful and friendly and always smiling. The food was OK, but not brilliant and lacked a little finesse and some dishes can be a little tasteless and overcooked. Can't complain too much as I enjoyed my stay there and I would return but perhaps eat out a little more."
