The Palazzo Ripetta was the perfect place for our week-long holiday in Rome. The hotel is beautiful and ideally located, just south of the Piazza del Popolo, on a quiet stretch of Ripetta. It is within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps, the Vatican, Via del Corso, and many other sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Saskia Pacifico (head of Guest Relations) met us at check in and was kind enough to show us around the property, pointing out many of the architectural design details (the property has a beautiful library and a chapel). Every member of the staff with whom we interacted was helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff kept our suite immaculately clean for the duration of our stay. We took advantage of the laundry/dry cleaning service multiple times during our stay. The entire staff seems to take great pride in the property, as they should. The San Baylon restaurant has a breakfast buffet that we enjoyed each morning. My wife and I also enjoyed a dinner there the night before departing. The bar was well appointed and had something on the menu for everyone. We frequently stopped in with our kids for a light lunch or a late-night snack. Our suite was large enough to comfortably fit our family of 5, with plenty of space to unwind after a day of seeing the sights. The suite overlooked the courtyard (which we loved). The entire suite was incredibly quiet -- no noise from the courtyard or from the street. We'd highly recommend it as an alternative to an Air B&B. It was like having our own apartment in Rome, with the services you expect from a 5 star hotel. Beautiful property. Ideal location. Attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
