Hotel Lussemburgo

My husband and I have been in this hotel for 3 nights. This is a very modest hotel as it has no luxury but has the necessary for 3 nights for someone that want a bed and breakfast. It is an hotel that is quite old.. but very nice and clean...and quite! The owners which are a couple, are both very kind and always with a smile. I really admire them as they are probable more that 60 years old and so nice for their guests doing the best they can for us. They don't speak English but it was nor a big problem as we were there for sleeping and breakfast. The hotel as a very good location near colosseo....about 10min walking. Also there is a metro station near there ..5 min which is very handy. I could definitely be back there. Obviously don't expect an hotel 4 star as is 2 star but as I said is clean, quite, kind people and free wi-fi!

The room is basic. Bathroom is a little small, especially the shower. Real Italien breakfast. The owners are very sweet. Our daughter loved them. 10 minute walk to Colosseum. 10-15 minute walk to Termini. We would stay there anytime again.

Hotel Lussemburgo is a good hotel in a poor location. It's extremely clean and the owners are lovely, even if they don't speak English. They do try and communicating with them is not difficult. Breakfast is basic, room is basic, hotel is basic. One thing I should note, the shower is TINY. If you are tall or larger, showering is not an enjoyable experience here. This hotel is good for those who are in town for one or two days. It's semi-close to Termini. But it's not for a longer term stay. If you are on a tight budget and OK with walking to the more popular sites (colosseum, etc) then you can make the most of your trip. But do note that the train station in a 15-20 minute walk, and all other sights are around the same or farther. Taxis can be pricey, especially returning to the neighbourhood at night.

If you're looking for a true Italian experience, this is it! The modest hotel is run by an Italian family, who will speak with you in fluent Italian whether or not you understand them! They are very lively and truly care about making your stay in Rome a good one. The breakfast in the morning is prepared by them and is a good start to your day. The rooms are what you'd expect for a 2-star hotel, but overall, great value for the price. The immediate area is not touristy, but you're very close to the train station as well as to the Colosseo

L'hôtel est situé près de la gare Termini et à proximité du métro MANZONI. Douche vraiment très petite, 4O cms pour se nettoyer avec toilettes à côté c'est difficile. Hôtel bruyant et mal insonorisé. Le point positif, c'est que les propriétaires sont très accueillants et prêts à rendre service. Petit déjeuner copieux. Déçu par l'avis de TRIPADVISOR qui est toujours d'avis très négatif et sur cet hôtel une bonne appréciation est mise. Qualité prix - Correct. 5 nuits passées dans cet hôtel courant mars 2012

Nos hemos alojado en el hotel Lussemburgo por 3 noches y la relación calidad precio esta bastante bien. Además la atención de la dueña del hotel es fantástica aunque solo habla italiano es muy simpatica y atenta. Hemos llegado muy temprano por la mañana y nos permitieron dejar nuestras maletas ahí mientras desocupaban alguna habitación y además nos han atendido con un rico desayuno (que no entraba ese día). La habitación que nos dieron estaba en un edificio aledaño al hotel, en un 4to piso sin ascensor. Estaba muy limpia, con las cosas necesarias, 2 armarios, un escritorio, tv, y una cama matrimonial que eran 2 camas juntas, pero cómodas. El baño también limpio y el agua caliente funcionaba Ok. Además podiamos utilizar la cocina del mismo departamento. La ubicación es buena ya que queda a 10 min del Coliseo y 15 min de la estación de Termini aunque es verdad que de noche el barrio se ve un poco solo y oscuro. Esta a una calle de un supermercado que saca mucho de apuro. En definitiva lo recomendamos a gente que busca un alojamiento barato, limpio y muy sencillo.

voyage en amoureux à Rome, nous voulions un hôtel typique au cœur du centre historique. nous l'avouons, d'habitude nous prenons des hôtels 3 ou 4 étoiles mais cette fois ci nous avons décidé de vivre les choses un peu différemment et d’être plus proche si cela était possible des habitants de Rome. les propriétaires de cet hôtel sont archis charmants, adorables, ils débordent de gentillesse, de prévenance à votre égard et ça rattrape tout !!!! et même si ils ne parlent pas français, pas d'inquiétude ils savent se faire comprendre et vous comprendre !!!!! alors oui c'est sur la salle de bains privative est petite voir très petite, la chambre n'est pas une 4 étoiles, mais elle est très propre, la literie était bonne, le ménage était fait tous les jours, les serviettes changées également, le petit déjeuner très copieux et presque à la carte.... la sonorisation est plus que moyenne, mais après une journée de visites vous êtes tellement fatigués que vous n'y prêtez pas attention, mais par précaution il vaut mieux demander une chambre sur cour si vous le pouvez. la situation est idéale, l’hôtel est situé à 10 mn à pied de la 1ère station de métro, pratiquement au pied de l’hôtel, vous avez les bus, et vous êtes à environ 1/4 h à pied du Colisée. pour finir, nous ne regrettons pas du tout notre choix surtout qu'il nous a permis de rencontrer deux personnes (les propriétaires) très attachantes, prévenantes et adorables, et rien que pour cela MERCI, MERCI, MERCI !

Lo malo, es el ruido si pillas la habitación 1 ya que da a la calle y a la puerta de salida. Tampoco me gustó el tener que dejar la llave de la habitación a la dueña, pero bueno, lo demás está bien. Cerca de estación de autobuses termini, cerca del metro y del Coliseo.

Hotel familiar llevado por un matrimonio mayor muy simpático. La mujer hacía cada mañana el desayuno que era tipo buffet. Pequeño pero con encanto y muy bien ubicado (a 10 minutos a pie del coliseo). A demás nos guardaron las maletas hasta la hora de hacer el checkin y así poder dar un paseo por Roma antes de entrar al hotel sin ir cargados.
