Your claims of a "high-end quality guest house offering luxury suites with all modern comforts" could not have been further from the truth. Our own observations were the complete opposite driving us to leave your property within one hour of checking in and seek other accommodation in Rome, making this one of the worst misrepresentations of an accommodation that we have experienced on our extensive travels. Upon arrival at the property, my husband and I were surprised to find rubbish littering both sides of the entrance, given the 'luxury" status the website proclaims, and unfortunately this lack of care or cleanliness was a recurring theme throughout the property. Some of our observations from entering the property: The property's elevator was broken, as we were informed by an employee, Amal(?) which he shouted from the top of the stairs. This is particularly problematic for me as I suffer from arthritis and specifically sought a property with an elevator. The front "desk" for check-in appeared to made of a board, piece of clear plastic and old desk, and was covered in wires, credit card machines and networking equipment (highlighted to me by the employee who told us to ignore the printed Wi-Fi information as it was broken, and rather scan the bottom of the device on his desk?! Completing the brief check-in process, we were pointed to the door immediately behind us and informed that this was our room. Upon entry of the room, we were dismayed to find the state of it was anything but your proclaimed "luxury" - including two beds (including a single bed we did not request or book), a small fridge on the floor (containing no "mini bar", as advertised) and a small shower room. In spite of a wall mounted Air Conditioning machine clearly running (due to the sound it was making), the room was 27°C and the machine did nothing to reduce that during our one hour in the room. A quick look around the room found dents and cracks in the walls, the bedside furniture to be broken, with sharp nails exposed, the one chair in the room was stained, and the headboard of the bed was too wide and overlapped with the light switches meaning that the lights turned on and off by themselves simply by sitting on the bed. Moving in to the bathroom, we found number of unacceptable issues, such as: Mold on the bathroom wall, ceiling and string pull for the fan Cracked tile in the bathroom floor Broken tile on the shower floor The toilet flush was broken and constantly running Having looked around, and been extremely upset with our various findings, we sat together and found that our previously clean socks were now filthy from the dirty parquet flooring, obscured by the natural floors coloring. Upon leaving the room and finding the employee, we informed him of our unhappiness with the entire situation of your property. He was polite but offered no means for rectifying the issues other than to hand my husband your property's business card and direct our complaints to an email ad
