Garden's Elide

Odd little place. Well situated near Termini and Republic Metro. Quiet location. Friendly host. Tidy. Quainte old fashion keys. But no service (room clean) feels like Covid days again. Clean towels at front entry, and I’m sure sheets if one needed them, but room never made up. Internet was weak and intermittent, but did connect. Reasonable value for Rome. Just recognize the limitations.

Very close to Rome city centre! Super clean ! Only downside is the nights/mornings can get a bit loud but otherwise there is nothing to fault in the room itself !

The owner was magnificent, I stopped at a hotel close by and he took my bag up the sidewalk for me. He checked in whenever he saw me. The safety was incredible for a solo traveler, 2 locked doors before you even got to the room. 10-15 minute walk to Roma Termini, many restaurants and shops nearby.

Wifi was slow and front desk didn't seem to care. front desk is laughable. Entry and exit takes 3 keys after a certain time. No coffee in room. This is a very small "hotel" with only 6 rooms. Expect services to make sense at that scale. There was mold in the shower grout, and the shower doors don't seal. The bed was mediocre, and they didn't even use fitted sheets on the mattress. Just a flat sheet, so I woke up laying directly on the mattress most nights..

Place was really nice, both receptionists were lovely to us. Only downsides were the shower head would fall off when you move the shower at all which then would spray round the whole room and make it wet. We didn’t mention to the hosts although we just didn’t move it for the rest of the stay. Everything else was nice, clean and the location was lovely.

The location is really good and close to everything but this is not a hotel. It’s more like a small inn or a big airbnb. I wasn’t really happy

Upon arrival, in the street you may see a sign for HOTEL GARDEN, but that is not the correct location. It's advisable to contact the hotel before your arrival, as there may not always be staff present at the reception. Let's discuss the hotel itself. It's situated at the entrance of the building and offers a total of 10 rooms. It's generally clean, and there are no issues with hot water. However, don't anticipate lavish amenities. However, the location is excellent, conveniently close to the metro and within walking distance of Rome's historical and tourist attractions. If you're not seeking extravagant comfort and simply want to explore the city, it could be a suitable choice.
