The Hive Hotel

Location is pretty good, walkable to most landmark. Near the hotel is also a stop for the hop on hop off buses, I think 4 or 5 different companies there. Only issue is that there is no parking in front of the hotel, we had some difficulties getting a Uber when heading to the airport as all didn't want to stop there to pick up and cancelled my bookings.

Clean and big enough, with king size bed, located near Roma Termini and not far always from shopping center.

Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Overall, the stay was good and very comfortable. The hotel's location was convenient, being close to many restaurants and near the stations. However, there was an issue with the toilet's heating system. It was centrally controlled, so we couldn't adjust it ourselves. This made it difficult to use the heating system for washing. When we contacted the hotel, they informed us that they couldn't turn it on because it was centrally managed. This was the only downside of the hotel.

The hotel is near the train station, and easy to reach, especially for travelers arriving by train. The hotel is clean and the best hotel experience I had in Italy. The design of the room was particularly noteworthy, with interesting touches that added to its charm. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the honey-scented shampoo and other amenities, which enhanced the overall experience of my stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Overall, I highly recommend The Hive to fellow travelers seeking a convenient base for their adventures in Rome.

Location was great. Overall experience was what you would expect for the price you pay. However, they don’t provide complementary bottle water which was slightly unexpected for me. Saw most customers buying bottled water outside instead.
