Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica

This hotel was clean in a decent location. It was close to a grocery store. We were only there for one night I would’ve preferred to have changed my reservation, but unfortunately, I made the mistake of doing an unfundable purchase of this hotel. I would’ve chosen to stay at the Radisson next to the train station in Rome rather than this one it was a much better experience, but this is not bad and maybe a little less expensive than the other one, but I would’ve preferred to pay a little extra for the experience. Perfectly placed for simply walking to all the places you want to see. Exceptional staff who cater for your every wish without being a nuisance. Perfect room but next to a tram line so some noise. The police in Rome love to be heard so regular sirens too. That said would stay again, it was a home from home. Clean, very comfortable and fresh. The roof terrace was absolute heaven and the tea corner a welcome resting spot.

The Room doesn’t work the light’s and the hotel team could fix. So we have to stay four nights with poor light in the room. The hotel doesn’t have valet parking and is to bad to take the luggage in and out. We stay two days without shampoo in the bathroom and also the shower flow all the way to the inteire bathroom. Last year we stay in the radisson collection in Milan and was a much better experience. Definitely the Rome Hotel is not a 5 star hotel.

Our experience from the hotel was great. We had an unfortunate accident on our first day and the hotel staff did everything to make us feel comfortable. Especially Soraya from the reception, we fell in love with her ! We have never seen such kindness and compassion from a staff member. We will forever be grateful for her ! Her assistance, her smile , her presence and genuine carrying for us brightened our trip. We hope this review will reach the managers of radisson hotel ( Roma Antica) .

What an exceptional hotel! Located in the heart of Rome, 10 minutes walk to the Pantheon, 10 minutes to the Roman Forum, the location is perfect for visiting Rome on foot. We arrived to find our room had been decorated with romantic lights, balloons and presents, for our wedding anniversary. The lobby downstairs is cosy and the staff are warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble! Giulia ensured we had everything we needed, from making us restaurant reservations to ensuring we were taken care of. You can find quality tea, biscotti, pastries, fruit and sweets to help yourself to 24/7. Each evening there was complimentary room service with chocolates, pillow scent and mineral water. There was a small issue with our original room but the team went above and beyond to move us into the best room of the hotel! We enjoyed a magical sunset over Rome from our private balcony with complimentary Prosecco. I couldn’t have asked for more. Rome will forevermore hold a special place in our hearts.

A beautiful hotel with great, big rooms and very friendly and accommodating staff. Walking distance to the majority of the attractions we visited. Rich and tasteful breakfast as well. Would definitely consider visiting it again if back in Rome
