Bay View Inn

We ended up having to leave the property due to noise. The walls are paper thin so when the drunk ****** neighbors checked in, the woke my baby up several time. The slamming and yelling at 11p was not what you look for in a property. The neighbor ended up banging on our wall. The property was filthy and you can tell that it is only swept but not mopped. It appears nothing like the pictures so don’t let it fool you. Not sure how it has so many stars.

Great stay! Easy check in and pet friendly. By the water and close by dining and shopping. We will be returning.

Bedsheet kept coming off at the corners; didn’t fit properly. Quality of TP was better than last time. Smoke alarm was hanging loose from the ceiling but the last at the desk said it does work; just needed to be put back in place. No Do Not Disturb sign in the room but didn’t ask for one. Housekeeping gave us clean towels every day.

Very disappointed with our stay. The room, #1, literally next to the office clearly had not been cleaned. First night we’re woken by “metallic” banging noise. Second night , hip hop bass most of the night. The sound was not coming from outside. We’ve stayed here before and had been a pleasant stay. Never an issue. This time it was a failure. Do better.

Everything was great, though I don't recommend the pullout couch. Then again those couches are always rough to sleep on anyway....

Basic cheap rooms Dead cockroaches in the light fixture could have been cleaned up.

3 night stay. The place was dirty but we managed to get by. Removed the sheets on last day and dirty stains covered the mattress cover. It was disgusting. Took pictures and will foward to the Rockport health inspectors.

I reserved a room for my daughter for 3 nights over Thanksgiving, as we stay in an RV. She arrived the first night and thought the room seemed chilly but ok. Woke up to decaf coffee only. Next day, Thanksgiving, she spent the day with us, when she went back to the hotel at night, room was cool again. Office was closed. The next night she told the man at the desk and he offered her another room but she was leaving early the next morning and accepted a blanket instead. Our complaint is the terrible customer service when we complained. The management was so rude and NEVER apologized. She only blamed us for not accepting another room on her last night, or not calling the posted phone number after hours. This is a warning to anyone who books there, you're on your own. Bring your own coffee and blankets! And don't complain because she'll bite your head off!
