Aldersyde Bed & Breakfast

A relaxing and enjoyable stay at Aldersyde Bed and Breakfast. The accommodation was well situated only a few minutes from Robin Hood’s Bay old town with lots of food and drinks options. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and our room on the top floor had a great sea view. The room was very peaceful and we unusually managed nine hours uninterrupted sleep both nights. Breakfast, cooked by Neil, was very tasty. Full cooked breakfast the first morning and salmon with scrambled eggs the second. Delicious. Our host Angela and Neill couldn’t have been more helpful. Great local knowledge and suggestions of things to do. We walked from Robin Hood’s Bay to Whitby on the Cleveland Way. Spectacular cliff top views and a great day out. Thank you. Yet again an excellent visit. It really is home from home for me. It is spotless. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a nice bath and rainfall shower. The room has everything you need and extras such as tasty biscuits. Angela and Neil welcome you into their beautiful home. Thre breakfast is always delicious. The area is perfect and my happy place. So much I stayed 2 extra nights. Angela even kindly washed me a few items. I'm returning again in July and I can't wait. It really is beautiful. Thank you both, Kath

We had a lovely comfortable stay at Aldersyde B&B. The room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed and a lovely selection of teas, coffee, biscuits and delicious home made brownies. The shower was large and powerful, so good after a days hiking. The breakfast were excellent with lots to choose from. Angela and Neill were perfect hosts and we would love to stay again.

A great B&B to stay. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Most importantly, a fantastic host couple. Don’t look any further, you will love your stay here. A short walk to the sea, very hear the bus stop. Quiet at the same time. Highly recommended!

A great 3 night stay over a bank holiday weekend and school holiday.. We arrived early on the Sunday morning as agreed with Angela and Neil.. Although it was early the room was already being prepared for our stay and we were able to leave our luggage with Neil who made sure it was taken to our room (room 2). On street parking that morning was extremely limited. We were lucky to get a spot just around the corner which was fine. The street remained full for the next 2 days before spaces started to free up.. There is a car park 200 meters away though. The room was very pleasant nice size with a fantastic bathroom with large walk in shower and a bathtub.. It was extremely clean. The windows are double glazed and this kept out any noise that may have been happening.. Though the house is in a quiet street anyway. There is a small tv in the room and a hair dryer is supplied. The bed which we had as a kingsize was massive! And very comfortable.. Breakfast is ordered the night before to allow the owners to plan for no waste and was again fantastic.. Its a limited menu but for a small bed and breakfast is more than enough for them to provide.. It was a good choice of full English items or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.. The breakfast service was great with Angela providing an attentive service out front and Neil cooking.. The quality of the ingredients are fantastic and you can order exactly the configuration you want each day. Breakfast is served between 0800 and 0900 with you picking a time slot in advance. All in all Breakfast was delicious and filled us for the day! The owners are very pleasant and friendly and full of suggestions and local knowledge.. Thank you for a nice stay

We recently had a 2 night stay at short notice. Angela and Neil could not have been any more welcoming. The room was brilliant, luxurious and very clean. Also very cosy. Breakfast was cooked fresh, and a lovely selection. Angela and Neil made various recommendations of where to eat locally, and local walks - very knowledgable about the area. This was the most perfect place to stay in Robin Hood Bay.
