It was not nice and I will tell you why! First of all I arrived late in the night due to my flight which they were informed about in ahead but there was actually nobody at the reseption and I needed to wait. The personal was not friendly. The room was smelly, dusty and a lot of noice from outside aircondition fans did prevent me to sleep. In the morning I saw a big bug in the bathroom. Outside the room the ceiling was dropping. I did check out very early for my flight back but again very unfriendly staff at reception that I needed to call for and wait. I asked for help for a taxi (this was the first time for me in the country). He told me to use uber or should look on the street myself. I stepped out of the hotel and there was no taxi. It was still dark and I was not feeling safe. This is a country (Saudi Arabia) where women are not so seen good alone and in the dark on the street. I was afraid on my safety. The I ordered a driver over Uber. He did not come although he did write me he is coming so I lost 45 min. In the end a Taxi came by chance but we did not make it on time to the airport. I missed the luggage check-in with 10 minutes and therefore missed my light although I had an online check-in. Now I need to wait the full day until the very late in the night for the next flight and will miss the first 2 sessions of a very important meeting in Zurich. I also now needed to book a room to be able to wait for the flight. Overall it was (still is) a terrible experience for me.
