Him River Resort

One of the best stays I had in Rishikesh. I booked the river view room with them which has a quite beautiful view of the river heul. The service of the staff was apt & Rahul was always available for assistance. Mr Dev the manager is one of the most humble person I’ve met & he made sure that we’re comfortable in the resort. Kudos to the team.

Location was very good it is actually river facing, but not at all maintained Room was full of spider web, towels was not clean, food was ok with very less options and service was very slow.. I cannot blame the supervisor for this as there were only one person for each work and they are trying there best. But the owner need to appoint more people and give some deep cleaning to property.

One of the best decision I've made to stay in Rishikesh. Great Punjabi food served by them with great care to hygiene. The rooms are spacious with the best view of nature. My pet ghungroo also loved the property & enjoyed his time their. Great option for pet friendly travelers.

Quite unique resort situated in the laps of the Himalayas. We visited the river Ganga ghat which is 200 meters away from the Resort & were mesmerized by its spiritual atmosphere. Me & my friend stayed in the newly made Premium river view rooms which are worth the money & are super spacious with private balcony overlooking the mountains & river. The Food quality is also top-notch with delicious taste. Dev took care of our personal needs very well & helped us arranging the city tour & river rafting. Recommended to everyone who are looking for a peaceful stay in the nature.

Location is excellent but Service needs to be improved a lot. The staff seems untrained and were not able to attend the Guests properly. Like Dogs were barking in the night, I asked the staff to remove the dogs nearby to my Mud house as i was not able to sleep in the night due to continuous barking. The staff said to do the needful, but did nothing and went away. At night 12:30PM , I could not find staff to help with further with this menace. Tried calling manager, but he also did not pick the call. Ultimately, I again came out of room, threw some stone to disperse the barking dogs. The staff is little uncourteous and untrained. Food quality is good, however, first we were served the staled paneer gravy. The best part of the resort is that it is just behind a river and surrounded by mountains which makes u feel as if we are sitting in mother nature lap. I would recommend this resort for nature lover, but the people looking for good service shall avoid this resort.

I hosted my anniversary at this resort & to be honest I didn’t expected this to be one of the best stays in my life. Special thanks to the manager Dev for sorting out everything for us & even arranging wine for the day. The view from the room is very beautiful & is quite cozy. Food was very healthy & hygienic, try their Dal Makhni & paneer butter masala, Chef Arvind made sure we get the best food. I highly recommend everyone to visit this resort in Rishikesh for their vacation.

We, family of 9 adults, 2 kids and 2 pets stayed there during Holi long weekend. Absolutely unhygienic cottages and toilets were the worst. Particularly during covid times, one would expect basic cleanliness. Absolutely uncourteous staff. Except one staff member named Rahul. Overall Poor management. The only savior was the location and the tributary passing just near the resort. It otherwise could have been a splendid experience if the management took care of basic hygiene, courtesy of staff.

It's a place where we need to go again and again in our life actually. Me and my wife had a wonderful experience at the place ,and the best journey. Rooms. the room was very neat and clean and house keeping was super ,always ready to served . Foods. As we prepared food without onions and garlic, pure satvic ,they specially made for us every day without a single complaint. Yoga class. They has a yoga place and teacher as well ,they provided, every morning had a yoga class, for all over day we found ourselves energetic and fresh. Nature excretion . Special thanks for subham ,every day he arranged some sight seen for us ,around the place ,ganga Aarti,kunjapuri temple ,forest etc. Namste and thanks for every one for this beautiful journey..

I visited this serene riverside resort in Rishikesh for a 6 days meditation retreat program. It was a life changing experience for me because of all the teacher’s correct guidance & knowledge, special thanks to Anoop for his creative yoga classes. The staff were quite helpful & always looked after our each & every needs. They served us organic food from the local village which was delicious & good for the stomach. The river was flowing in front of our rooms with soothing sound all the time & the birds used to wake us up every morning. It’s a perfect paradise for bird watchers with such a rich varieties of birds. We were so happy that we chose Him River Resort for our meditation program & stay in Rishikesh. Hope to come back soon.
