National Hotel

Very friendy and helpful staff, nice and clean rooms, close to good restaurants and cafés, beach reachable within 3 minutes. Very good experience!

A lovely place with wonderful staff. Sophia was very very helpful on check in. The hotel is modern and very well kept. It is located right in the heart of the best area for restaurants and bars. Walk out the back of the hotel and you are on the beach, unless you book the annex which an 80 meter walk away and across a busy road. I would not recommend that. We booked a family room for four which had two balconies. One looking onto the beach and the other over the town. Parking is behind the hotel with very easy access. Whilst no one is going to fat eating the buffet breakfast it does do the job. We will return.

We are returning customers to the National Hotel as we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Rimini. This was my first time visiting with my toddler son and everything was perfect. We loved breakfast, there is just so much variety for everyone- eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, rolls, yoghurts, meats, cheeses and juices The staff are super friendly and attentive.. the bar staff always helpful. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and clean. The location is the best, one side is the “*****” with shops and restaurants and the other side is a beautiful beach. We really like the fact it’s now accessed not via a main road and is instead a road used for cyclists and pedestrians, they’ve also built a boardwalk which has really updated the place and made it a lot more modern and user friendly. Can’t wait to return next year hopefully! Keep up the good work.

We had an absolute pleasure of staying in the National Hotel in Rimini. We really enjoyed our stay in a sea view room where we enjoyed the most beautiful sunrises in the mornings. It was absolutely spectacular to watch the sunrise from the balcony every morning. One of the best and very rare things about the hotel is the family feel. Everyone, from Sara, the owner, to the lovely team, is like one big and happy family welcoming you in their home. Too many things to mention why this hotel is one of the best ones we stayed ( and we travel a lot), from delicious food, fantastic facilities, clean and comfortable bedrooms, lovely pool. Even though it’s a big hotel, it has a small boutique hotel feel, where everyone knows your name, happy to see you, you are greeted with the most genuine smile and you feel like part of the family. This beautiful place was built and always remained in the same family, hence its so different from the big corporate chain hotels. There is so much history to it and stories to hear, but we won’t spoil the surprise, you will discover for yourself when you stay there. The whole team is absolutely exceptional and passionate about making you feel comfortable and helping you create beautiful memories. You really don’t need to go and look for places to eat, because the breakfast and dinners ( we haven’t tried lunch) are absolutely exceptional. The standard of cleanliness is second to none, the housekeeping team works really hard make sure you will find your room clean and sparkling every day. We didn’t use the spa and the gym, but if this is what you like to do on holidays, you will really enjoy the view from the terrace whilst exercising. We really didn’t want to leave today, in fact we feel sad to go and move to our next destination, but we are definitely coming back here again and would highly appreciate recommend this beautiful hotel to our friends and family. Thank you do much team National and Sara for making our stay so happy and memorable.

Five of us went for lunch today. Luckily we booked in advance as quite busy. A lovely welcome from the staff. Fantastic menu with locally sourced produce. The new menu, out next week is even better! Excellent service, beautifully cooked local food. Seafood linguine, seared scallops and black pudding, salmon fishcakes, are just some of the dishes we tried, but the new dishes are so imaginative that we are going to have to make a return trip, and maybe just stay overnight! They also have a coffee shop with amazing home made cakes and scones! Thank you so much for such a lovely experience!

Cortesia e qualità nei servizi. Gli addetti alla reception sono competenti e sempre disponibili a risolverti gli eventuali problemi che possono sorgere. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Il loro arredamento è comodo e moderno. Molte camere hanno una vista sul mare. L'hotel dispone di una piscina climatizzata e un wi-fi gratuito a disposizione dei clienti.

E’ passato un anno da quando abbiamo chiuso la nostra precedente recensione dell’Hotel National di Rimini. Una recensione che possiamo tranquillamente paragonare ad una serie televisiva e come tutte le serie di telefilm che si rispettino, soprattutto per quelle di successo, è giunto il momento della sua seconda stagione. Siamo nell’Agosto del 2024 ed avevamo lasciato in chiusura della prima serie i personaggi di Don Chisciotte ed il suo fido Sancio Panza a governare il Ristorante Zafferano, perla dell’Hotel National di Rimini. Un'hotel, detto per inciso, di cui confermiamo tutte le positività delle passate stagioni (ci veniamo ormai lontano 1984). Detto questo però ci tuffiamo nella seconda stagione di questa nostra serie adattata ai personaggi del National. Stagione che ha subito ovviamente dei cambiamenti. Il buon Chisciotte, detto Tito, si è perso per strada il suo fido Panza che lo ha abbandonato (pancia compresa) verso imprecisati ed imprecisabili lidi. Eccolo dunque rimasto solo soletto a governare la sala ristorante del National. Ma non proprio solo per la verità. Ci sono le Tate di Tito. Effettivamente i suoi occhietti azzurri, dopo essere stati molto inumiditi dal fatto di essere stato sedotto ed abbandonato dal fido Sancio, ora paiono essere stati in qualche modo consolati da altri personaggi che sono arrivati a supportarlo. Fra questi se ne staglia uno che dopo essere stato fra i comprimari della stagione passata, ora pare avere acquisito più spazio nei copioni del telefilm. Tale Regina, per tutti la “Queen” che dribbla fra i tavoli del ristorante del National, come Alberto Tomba dribblava le bandierine degli slalom che lo vedevano fra i protagonisti. Essa però non si limita a dribblare tali tavoli, ma spesso e volentieri ci si ferma per intrattenere gli ospiti. Lei non conosce mezze misure. Ma nella media delle sue presenze riscuote un certo successo. In questo è molto aiutata da due new entry della sala del ristorante Zafferano. La Francesca, che ha un sorriso che non conosce confini, come amava chiamare Sandro Ciotti la Maria Teresa Ruta alla Domenica sportiva e Renato, personaggio che pare uscito dal telefilm Warrior. Ebbene, il buon Don Chisciotte insieme a questo fantastico team, governa la sala del ristorante del National con stampato sul volto un sorriso (che però conosce alcuni confini). In buona sostanza abbiamo le Tate di Tito, questo il nome di Chisciotte, rimasto senza Panza, con l’aggiunta del buon Sahm di Warrior. Il quadrilatero del Ristorante Zafferano del National appare così compiuto. Non dimentichiamo però colui che tira le fila di tutto il ristorante. Il vero burattinaio, il creatore dei piatti che il quartetto distribuisce agli ospiti del National. Insomma il Cuccia culinario della situazione, ovvero l’ineffabile chef Giorgio Bianchi. Senza di lui Tito, le sue Tate con Sahm sarebbero come un campo da calcio, con 22 giocatori, ma senza pallone. Ventidue persone in cerca d’autore, di Pirandelliana memori
