Hotel Continental

I have booked 5 rooms for 8 nights at this hotel 3 months before our business trip. And after we have stayed several days at the hotel, in-between another conversation, they have told us that they will close the hotel in a few days and they will move us to another hotel for our last day. It was so unpolite that they haven’t informed us before. As I have learned from a friend, they were doing this every year for Expo visitors. Moreover, they have offered us a dinner with fish to apologize because we do not eat pork at all. but when we got to the dinner, there was no fish. There was a creamy potato with fish. But you need a microscope to see the fish inside 😂 When we were talking about their dinner offer one night before, we have showed a picture of a seabass fish photo from google not to have a misunderstanding. They have said yes, there will be a grilled fish like seabass. But there was only pasta and various cold salad-starter options. When we have told this situation yo reception, they have blamed to saying a lie that they have not promised gor any fish. It was more disappointing that I have been accused of being a liar.. They have ruined that night of us.

We came from Zürich to Rimini, two years after our first visit in 2021 and looked a while for a good hotel (we stayed before in two 3* hotels). We read a lot about the Continental and decided to try it for 7 nights. We were traveling with a 4months old baby and our standars are usually quite high, so if you are a critic, this review would suit very well. We chose the option with 3 meals and booked through the official website as they are offering complimentary Upgrade upon availability and best price compared to agencies. The hospitality of this hotel is much better than many 5* Hotels we've been to, including the ones in Switzerland. The staff are overall super friendly, they make you feel spoiled and cared for. The food is exceptional, varied, tasty and perfectly balanced. Both the waiters and the chefs are super friendly and would assist you without asking. The chef Allessandro comes very often outside to present the dishes, explain how they cook them and answer to any questions/ queries, showing a lot of professionalism and class. The housekeepers are always greeting and smiling, the rooms spotlessly cleaned every day. The beach staff is very friendly and easy going. They try to organize the beach beds upon your requests and availability. We were greeted every time we came to the beach and left. Obviously the management takes care of the staff and are understanding, which reflects in the quality the staff is able to provide to the clients. They made such a great impression on us thwt we extended our stay to another 5 nights as of the third day here. We were super happy to be at the Continental and we will definitely come back, hopefully every year as of now. this was the second time in this Hotel .. it just gets better and better..the food is simple but very very good..rooms are smaller but clean ..staff is friendly..location perfect beach front and town promenade just behind ..overall very very good

We stayed for a week and had an overall very good stay. The hotel is of a very good quality and the staff very friendly. The cleanliness was outstanding. The rooms perhaps a little small. The buffet style meals were ok, but not the best, but the restaurants around were very good. A very busy part of the beach front and quite noisy but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Good if you’re looking for a holiday with lots going on but not if you’re looking for a quiet, chilled time away.

Soggiorno presso l' Hotel Continental nel periodo Pasquale.... ottima esperienza, in camera tripla, pulito e bagno super.... trattamento pensione completa, colazione abbondante e con ottima scelta per tutti i gusti, così come il pranzo e la cena.... ottima anche l' animazione per i ragazzi e bambini.....se cercate un family hotel il Continental è ideale.....

Bellissimo hotel gestito con amore e dedizione, personale professionale e sempre sorridente e gentile (specialmente le ragazze alla reception) e grande attenzione ai bambini. I nostri piccoli hanno gradito tantissimo il regalino di benvenuto e io sono rimasta a dir poco sorpresa dal piccolo uovo, caramelle e soprattutto dal dépliant con le favole della buonanotte (idea meravigliosa) che abbiamo trovato in camera, mai viste tante attenzioni nei tanti hotel che abbiamo girato sia in coppia che con i bambini. Nonostante fosse (credo) quasi al completo nel weekend di Pasqua il personale (di sala e non) ha saputo gestire benissimo il flusso di clienti, il cibo sempre vario, abbondante e buono sia a colazione che a cena, con eventi particolari in programma (pianoforte e ballerina a colazione una vera chicca!). Lo spettacolo del mago molto carino e anche il musical è piaciuto ai bimbi e anche a noi. L'animazione in generale per i piccoli è stata carina anche se le ragazze non riuscivano bene a contenere l'esuberanza dei (moltissimi!) piccoli ospiti, nonostante la loro buona volontà. Ho già consigliato questo hotel a parenti, colleghi e amici e ci torneremo sicuramente per i nostri futuri viaggi in Emilia Romagna. Grazie!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura in occasione delle festività pasquali. Eravamo già stati ospiti a fine anno. Hotel bello esteticamente, camere pulite e sufficientemente spaziose. Noi avevamo scelto la visita mare. Ottima la ristorazione a buffet, proposte sempre varie e cibi cucinati con sapienza dal bravo chef della struttura. Per esigenze alimentari particolari veniva richiesto ad ogni pasto un piatto particolare cucinato solo per me oltre alla grande e varia proposta del buffet. Siamo sempre stati esauditi con precisione e disponibilità. Altrettanta cortesia si ritrova sia dal personale della hall che nel bar. Un grazie particolare a tutto il personale, camerieri di sala inclusi. A presto. Hotel consigliato.

Pro: - pulizia delle camere e degli spazi comuni - gentilezza e ospitalità del personale - animazione coinvolgente per i bambini, con tante piccole attenzioni per loro (zainetto all’arrivo, uovo di cioccolato in stanza per esempio) - posizione sul mare Da migliorare: - pasti a buffet - prezzo degli extra (25 euro/di’ per il parcheggio, 3,50 euro per una bottiglia d’acqua in tavola) Contro: - temperatura interna: caldissima sia negli ambienti comuni sia nella stanza! L’impossibilità di regolarla autonomamente, ha reso difficile dormire durante la notte. Riassumendo: un hotel a 4 stelle non può permettersi un simile disagio nella gestione della temperatura, a cui non è riuscita a far fronte nemmeno alle lamentele di tutti gli ospiti. Peccato! E’ l’unico vero inconveniente che penalizza quello che ha tutte le potenzialità per essere un ottimo hotel per famiglie.

In occasione di una convention ho soggiornato in questo Hotel, in prima fila mare. La mia camera tripla con vista interna è piccolina e il bagno non è nuovissimo, soprattutto la doccia, ma il tutto è pulito. La porta di ingresso alle camera con chiude benissimo e questq cosa fa filtrare molta luce dal corridio, anche altri colleghi me l'hanno confermato. La colazione è basica, il caffè espresso davvero cattivo. I bagni che servono le aule riunioni angusti. Il pranzo a buffet sufficiente. C'è il parcheggio. Come business hotel 4 stelle non lo consiglierei, come hotel mare si.
