I can not understand why it costs $14 to park 1 can at a hotel in Parachute Colorado... especially when there were not others guests there....The first room we were put in smelled terrible we called the front desk and she changed us to a better smelling room. The next morning when we woke up the bathroom smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. When I told the front desk they said there was nothing they could do even though it was a non smoking hotel. The overnight person was very rude. And the breakfast would have been $50 for 2 kids and 2 adults.... We didn't try it but I would not pay that for breakfast at a room that was only $57 a night. Maybe you should charge more for the room and hire a nicer staff. I would never ever stay here or recommend to anyone.

It’s not in a city and they charge $14.00 for parking. The restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast.

A last minute decision to stay due to a road closure. Made reservations online. Arrived to everything being arranged. Clerk, Rebecca, was super helpful, polite and informational. The room was spacious with 2 comfy chairs, dimmable night stand lamps, wifi, the usually expected amenities. Bed was comfortable. Clean. Heater warmed the room up quickly.

They have several “hidden” charges that any other hotel would include. $14 for parking!!! Seriously. The buffet breakfast for $15 was NOT a buffet. It’s an imposition for a staff member to go make you some eggs and sausage. Not worth it. The lot is empty, and I just can’t get over the lame parking charge. Maybe this run down place will go the way of the giant abandoned hotel that is adjacent to it. Never again would I stay here. Terrible beds. Old and run down place. The staff is trying, but there are paper signs everywhere with weird “rules”. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this place.

This used to be one of my favorite places to stay. Instead of staying in Grand Junction I like to have a short drive to get to a job so I can get some coffee in me before starting my work. The $14.00 parking fee makes it the last time I stay there. That's not right

our stay was amazing. Check in was quick and the man at the front desk was very kind to us. We made use of his heated pool which was incredible, he has a whirlpool and the place was heated. We also tried the delicacies of the Pub, Larrie treated us very well, her food is delicious and they really make you feel at home. To my surprise they also had vegan food, delicious. I hope one day I can return! We only stopped for one night on the way to Monument Valley. I definitely recommend this hotel. our room was super clean and smelled great. the heating, our room was King and larger than the common hotel rooms, the bathroom and everything was perfect. 10/10

I always stay here when im n the area. Kristie provides exceptional customer service & the rest of the staff. Housekeeping staff very nice helpful and provide clean rooms.

I always enjoy staying at the Grand Vista and also the Grand River in Parachute. I am a frequent visitor to both of these sister hotels — perhaps 2-3 days every six weeks. Sometimes I need to get away from the hustle of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley to work and organize and collect my thoughts in a quiet setting. Vanessa the GM at the Vista does an excellent job of keeping the facility clean and accommodating the guests. The new manager at the River also is very pleasant and ensures a high-quality experience for the customers. The wi-fi signal at both properties is always strong and consistent, allowing me to do my work. The hot tub at both hotels is usually operable. Kudos to both of these sister hotels in Parachute, Colorado!

There was a 34$ animal charge i didnt expect there was nothing about it on their website or ******* when i booked the room and no one answers when we called multiple times to ask about animals so that kinda ******. Its 14$ to park which was fine, everything else was great!
