Mercure Rhodes Alexia Hotel & Spa

Clean room, very friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk and at the bar. The location is close to a range of cafes, restaurants and small shops, so it's easy to pick up snacks or drinks at any time of the day. Very short walk to the (stony) beaches too, so overall a great location.

Leaving the hotel after 11 nights, and can honestly say we’ve had a lovely stay. All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was modern and clean, with cleaners going in every day. We had a room at the back of the hotel and couldn’t hear the noise from bar street with the balcony door closed. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and fried eggs and omelettes were freshly cooked on request. The hot chocolate from the coffee machine is amazing The location is good with plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach very close by. We walked into old town almost daily which took about 20 minutes and there’s plenty to see on the way. The pool area is quite small, but considering it’s a hotel in the city and that many nearby hotels don’t have a pool at all, it was great. Most hotel guests seemed to be respectful with the sun beds so they weren’t reserved at silly hours. Our only negative points were that the bed was quite hard (although we got used to it after the first night), and one night the air con wasn’t working properly but this was promptly sorted by the morning. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a big construction project going on across the road, but the workers only seemed to be there until around 3pm each day so we were out exploring for most of it, and were easily able to drown out any noise when around the pool. It’s not the fault of this hotel and completely out of their control - if your travel operator didn’t warn you then that’s an issue with them, not the hotel!

We had a wonderful experience at Mercure Alexia hotel. The Guest Relations manager went above and beyond to find the perfect birthday cake, complete with everything we could have hoped for (fruit platter and a bottle of wine in our room to celebrate ). It was simply so nice and wonderful. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Reception desk staff was very professional. We truly felt pampered from the beginning to the end. Thank you !

Everything in the hotel ead very good: breakfast, room, lobby, bar, people. The team at the reception is excellent. The only missing star is because of the noisy neighborhood. Still, we slept well :) I recommend the hotel!

Hotel was in a good location. Very short walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. About 1 minute. Also within walking distance to Old Town if you can manage 25 minutes. Rooms were well decorated and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was basic, European buffet as expected. The pool area a little small and shaded most of the day but the biggest let down was the very uncomfortable bed. 7 nights in this lead to back pain for both me and my partner and for that reason, we could not stay here again which is a real shame as there are so many other positives, but yes, it really was that bad.

We had an amazing stay at the Mercure Hotel in Rhodes! The location is perfect right in the city, with everything you need just steps away. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was freshly made every day with a great variety to choose from. Our room was cleaned daily and always spotless, which made the stay even more comfortable. The overall experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rhodes!
