Lindos Harmony Suites

1) Place of the room complex is ideal: wonderful view on the Acropolis of Lindos during breakfast, and from our bedroom also. (5 stars) 2) You should be prepared for the fact that cars and parking are not allowed in Lindos, so do not take heavy suitcases with you because you have to walk a lot (3 stars). 3) Rooms are not kept clean. Do not look under the beds; you must clean the toilette by yourself and you also have to wash your dishes by yourself. (1 star). 4) Internet is perfect. Nevertheless you cannot watch TV with german or english programms; most of them are in russian language. (2 stars). 5) Concerning beds and changing of towels, ok. (4 stars). 6) Breakfast is normal with no great variety, but good enough (4 stars). 7) The people: Philippos is a very nice and communicative guy with a lot of tips for your stay in Rhodos. (5 stars).

We had the most wonderful, perfect week staying here! First of all - our hosts! Phillipe and his lovely sister (I'm so sorry, I can't exactly remember your name - Angela?) were incredible - we miss you! Thank you for making our first proper holiday in twelve years so memorable and welcoming! We are already making plans to return! We stayed in one of the bigger suites, right on the front terrace and breakfast served just literally outside our window. We ended up arriving quite late (about 11.30pm) as our flight was delayed, so when we arrived we didn't really know what to expect. Phillipe came up on his moped to meet us from the airport transfer bus and kindly wheeled my massive suitcase 'home' for me. When we got there, we found a welcome bottle of wine and a bottle of water in the fridge. I was a bit worried that being right next to the terrace might end up being a bit noisy, but the entire week I didn't hear a pin drop, it was so quiet even with the bustling little village of Lindos right below us. The bed was SO comfortable, and there was air conditioning in both bedrooms and also downstairs (essential! 40C in June!). We appreciated the kitchen sink and the fridge, really useful for keeping our water and local wines cool! The bathroom was surprisingly large, loads of counter space, so we could easily rinse our swimsuits and even towels after snorkelling all day. There was even a little drying rack just outside our room, so convenient, and of course everything was dry in an hour or two! The view from our bedroom - No.2 - was breathtaking. The acropolis in the middle with views out down little valleys to the azure Aegean on both side, with and the white, roof-terraced village of Lindos spread out below like a jigsaw puzzle. I particularly enjoyed watching the local residents (up the hill, to our left) chasing the goats out of their garden at sunrise on our first morning! The sun rises right over the acropolis, by the way. The shady, breezy terrace (where breakfast was had) was wonderful. We also often sat out at night after we'd returned from dinner, with a digestif, just relaxing in the hanging woven egg chairs, soaking it all in. Breakfast was AMAZING. My daily morning feast consisted of ... tomato, cucumber, feta, fresh warm feta or spinach pastries, fresh warm mini-croissants, olives, warm bread rolls, greek yoghurt, honey, homemade carrot jam, cake, fruit, boiled eggs, juice coffee and more besides. It was heavenly, and I hate being home and having to fend for myself now! And Angela's smiling face, and Phillipe's brilliant banter, just made the first hour each day so much happier than it was already. The whole vibe is gorgeous, welcoming, relaxing, so well designed, especially the stunning plants and courtyards. It didn't seem real! Thank you ever so much for everything, x

Spent 5 wonderful days at the Harmony Suites. The accommodation is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Philip and Tsambikos looked after us like long lost family and made the trip so much more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The two ladies who cleaned the rooms and made the breakfast worked tirelessly. Thank you Philip and Tsambikos for a great time and taking care of us. We would come back and definitely recommend to others.

Just come back from a week's holiday here. It is very quaint with lovely views on the terrace at breakfast but think we got the worst room! Had few problems they tried to fix but didn't. Worst one was toilet flooded the bathroom, they mended it but mentioned it had done this few days before. Shower was dreadful, the shower head used to fly up in the air and go everywhere, it had a mind of its own...water only luke warm. Breakfast was the same everyday, it was a self service will very little options, same every day, so we skipped breakfast a few times just because it was so repeatative. If you have difficultly in climbing hills then this is not the place for you, as it is on a steep hill. The views though are beautiful. Steps which are quite cobbled and slippery down into Lindos so the location was excellent and on top of St.Pauls Bay which is stunning! Beware of charges for sunbeds though..very expensive 40 ranging to 70 euros for two with parasol. Lee Beach in Pefkos was lovely 25 euros for 2 sunbeds with parasol at front of beach. Ate at Lee's Beach Restaurant but chicken was overcooked and hard, they did replace it when we told them though. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Lindos but just wouldn't stay at the Lindos Harmony Suites for the reasons mentioned. I must say though that Uranela was so hardworking and couldn't do enough for you. A credit to Lindos Harmony Suites, thank you Uranela!

Ok - whilst the accommodation was clean - this was a very disappointing experience for the 6 of us (3 adult couples - 4 in their 20s annd 2 in their 60s- all well travelled) and we have stayed in Lindos on 5 occasions. Key issues were: 1 breakfast is appalling - we ate out as it was so bad. They could offer better - but clearly can’t be bothered (as this comes up on other reviews). (We were offered a plain omelette which looked like it was microwaved - seriously) 2. The rooms smell of drains 3. We moved rooms and of the 5 rooms we stayed in - none had a balcony / privacy 4 decor is tired eg pictures / shower curtains / tv / and the photos on website are flattering / clever 5 when we left there was no one there so we simply put the keys on the desk and made our way 6 Philip - the host is a nice guy but he is loud and he woke everyone up early one morning shouting “everyone out” at around 7am )we thought there was a fire - there was not) We will not be returning. At best this is 3 star accom and the owners need to invest in this accommodation starting with decor: breakfast offering: and assisting guests with getting too and from the taxi rank (which is a difficult hilly walk).

My wife and I have just got home from our week in Lindos. We loved staying at the Lindos Harmony Suites. Our room was well equipped and cool with very effective air conditioning. The hotel is in a great spot far enough away from the hubbub and busy night life to be out of earshot while being close enough to the centre of Lindos for everything to be a short walk away. It’s also high enough in the town to have great, uninterrupted views of the Acropolis while having breakfast on their balcony. At the bottom of the path into town is a handy supermarket and the best bar we could find in Lindos called Crazy Moon. Phillip and the team were fantastic, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When we asked about a Laundry service they did our laundry for us with a smile at no extra charge Philip took lots of time to give us advice and recommendations as well as directions to places that many visitors may never find. My only slight criticism would be that the breakfast was a little plain and unimaginative. But to be fair it was still better than anything I serve myself at home and I think being spoiled by all of the amazing Greek food everywhere, a mearly good breakfast seems disappointing in comparison. But it was still tasty and plentiful enough to keep us fed for the whole day. So we never needed a lunch all week as we were fed well enough to last until the sun went down and the restaurants were calling. ευχαριστώ Harmony Suites we would love to return.
