Just returned from a one-week stay. The hotel itself is stunning, and the facilities—especially the pool—are truly unmatched. There’s plenty of space, and the beds by the water are fantastic. It’s great to see so many sunbeds available throughout the day. However, the hotel’s policy on towel placement and reserving sunbeds is poorly enforced. While the rule states towels left unattended for more than 30 minutes should be removed, this was inconsistently applied. We saw towels left for hours untouched, while in other cases, staff were asked to remove them so others could use the beds—even when the original guests clearly had canopy beds just behind. This could definitely use more consistent management. The QR code ordering system worked well, and beach access is excellent. The ice cream parlour was a definite highlight, especially for kids. We also appreciated the Italian restaurant for lunch—it was a nice change of pace. While the hotel is undeniably beautiful, it sometimes feels like it relies too heavily on its looks rather than service and quality. Food and drink quality were very inconsistent. Despite ordering the same drinks multiple times, they rarely tasted the same. Signature frozen cocktails were advertised but, no matter the time of day, were always “not ready.” Soft drinks were another issue. While those served in restaurants were fine, the ones from the beach bar often tasted off, and several times had floating particles. The food at breakfast and lunch was great, especially the omelettes. Food at dinner was repetitive and lacked variety, especially for children. There was a serious lack of child-friendly options, making me wonder what younger children were expected to eat. The buffet dinner in particular felt repetitive. While we had an enjoyable week overall, the inconsistency in food and beverage quality really detracted from the experience. These shortcomings fall short and unfortunately let down what is otherwise a beautiful and well-designed hotel. Also worth noting—upon check-out, no one asked how our stay was. For a hotel of this caliber, that lack of basic hospitality left a lasting impression and felt like a missed opportunity for feedback.
