Golden Odyssey Hotel - All Inclusive

Where to start, we'll be back. The staff in general are excellent and very attentive to your needs. The pools are great and there's plenty of room for sun loungers. The restaurant is run by a fantastic team of chef's, waiting staff and the restaurant manager Michael an absolute gent. Entertainment is good. Mike and his team made it fun to be with and evenings were fun. If u have little ones they're love it. Food was very nice and varied and the all inclusive drinks are good. Thanks for making our holiday memorable and we will see you again.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel like this review is needed. we went on a family holiday here couple weeks ago, reading the reviews we was so very nervous we booked the wrong hotel. But we was splendidly surprised! yes the hotel is a bit run down could do with some modern re-vamp. The time of year we went we didn't realise the evening entertainment had finished so this was down hearting. But the rooms were cleaned and stocked towels every day. staff was so friendly and welcoming. All the kids loved the hotel the different pools to pick from was perfect for the age differences we had with us. I have to put a massive comment on the manager of the restaurant was 1010 my daughter has several allergies (epi-pen) and sensory when it comes to food. She had the princess treatment. Every day made up fresh chicken (only thing she would eat) bring to her table and cut it for her. if we we went out of the hotel, he would make her up sandwiches to leave with. He was a complete star and being a mum I was so petrified taking a young child abroad with such high allergies and sensory. She absolutely adored him and couldn't wait to see him every day. Overall had the most lovely experience and turned out to be a really good holiday. Greece is beautful!

I can see why there are some complaints but I don’t agree with all of them. I found the room adequate to our needs, the food mostly good and the location was as described when I booked (TUI). I asked for a high and quiet room, which I got. Yes it did look over the service area but if you look straight ahead it was lovely countryside. (Who looks down on a high balcony without vertigo 😂) No kettle but asked at reception and got one straight away. Cleaners are a bit rubbish. I do know that if you put towels on shower floor they will replace but apart from emptying bins ( no toilet paper or anything else down toilet) they didn’t do anything else. Wasn’t a big problem for us, just a couple who ain’t very messy. The food was pretty good in my opinion. I am an adventurous eater and will try anything. I did struggle a little at breakfast but still left the table full. Greek yogurt, honey and fruit was a fav and their version of a cooked breakfast was adequate. Only thing that I didn’t touch after day1 was the hard boiled eggs. They were runny 😂. Lots of Greek options to eat. For beige eaters- nugget and chips people, you will struggle. Location is away from eucalyptus av and all the shops and beach but I loved our walks to and from the hotel through the olive groves. Kolympia does have its rubbish problem, which is a massive shame and it’s not a big massive busy area but I personally looked past its negatives and found a lovely place and had a great holiday. Please don’t be put off. Oh and the sea and location are great. Warm and plenty of good snorkelling by the rocky areas!

Well i just got back after a 10 day holiday very disappointed, this could be such a nice hotel ,they have 4 pools scatterd which is great.the cleaning of our rooms was awfull they just emptied bins and pulled up the bed ,we constantly had to ask for toilet rolls, towels,beds not changed untill the 7th day and that was only because i stripped them myself then asked the cleaner to put fresh sheets on the food was dripping in oil upsetting our stomaches and so forcing us to pay to eat out even though we paid for all inclusive,we found the staff very rude and not friendly at all even in the shop such a shame could be so much better .we were a family of seven and will definatley not stay here again & definatley only a 2 star hotel

The dirtiest Hotel I've ever stayed in it'd depressing and run down I would rather of stayed in pontins and that's bad enough dirty bed sheets mice droppings all over horrible smell of drians dirty pool I could go on and on I couldn't stay there so moved to a different hotel

Absolutely awful. I have seen better hostels and kennels. No way this was a 4 star. Contacted TUI after 10 minutes of arrival to get us moved. Luckily we were moved the following day. The TUI rep told us the hotel was on their “critical” list. So why are they still selling holidays there? It cost us more to stay in this dump than it would have at the hotel we were moved to for the week. Towels were grubby, bed was dreadful, I’ve seen thicker sliced bread than the mattress and pillows. Asked for milk to make a drink to be told I have to wait for restaurant to open to get it. Staff miserable but not surprised having to work there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place not even to my worst enemy.
