Gennadi Grand Resort

We had a wonderful time at the hotel and were completely satisfied with all the amenities and the overall atmosphere of hospitality. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, while the common areas were always tidy and inviting. I would like to make a special mention of Anastasios, one of the staff members, who truly stood out for his professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to help. He assisted us with every question we had and made our stay even more pleasant. People like him really make a difference! We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I would usually champion the Atlantica brand, so much so, we have persuaded our family to join us here at the Atlantica Dreams in Gennadi. The transfer was, to be blunt, too long after a long flight with children. Upon arrival, no welcome here. A €210 occupancy charge, no idea how to get to our room, what time breakfast was etc but we were all tired so were thankful of a lovely clean room without drama. Food outstanding, entertainment was excellent and the TUI team work exceptionally hard to offer all ages something. Special mention to Dan who honestly is destined for the West End or TV, this guy is just phenomenal, he absolutely made it for us. Sadly despite paying the occupancy fee we had an issue with the stability of an old cheap travel cot my granddaughter had attempted to sleep in for the last five nights. After disturbed sleep since arriving here my daughter in-law noticed a wooden, sturdy cot being taken from another room following the occupants departure. So, she attended the reception to request my granddaughter have such a cot. She explained that the old travel cot was unsteady and as her child, our granddaughter moved, the instability was waking her leading to broken sleep. The reception staff explained that the wooden cots cost so much more than the unstable travel version and therefore another charge per night would be required to endure the safety of our granddaughter and good sleep all round. I am flabbergasted at this. Had we known that in a 5 star resort that the only occupants offered a decent bed would be full fare paying guests and that babies are treated as poorly as this I would have suggested we book with a group who recognises that if the children are happy the parents, and grandparents would be more inclined to a) book again and b) write great reviews. How very short sighted Atlantica and from someone who has spent the last 18 years in at least one of your hotels I am sadly extremely disappointed at the response offered to my daughter in law. Needless to say we have cancelled our August holiday as to us, the customer service is more important than the clean sheets and variety of food.

One of the highlights of our 10 day stay at the Gennadi Grand Resort was the very interesting and entertaining Astro Night with Strato Koufos. We learned a lot about our solar system and can recommend that evening with stars to everone during their stay.

First visit to Rhodes, looked at many options and finally settled on the Gennadi Grand Resort, so happy that we did, exceptional service from the very start, private transfer in a luxurious Mercedes minibus which I’m told cut the coach transfer time in half, greeted at the entrance to the hotel with a warm welcome and seated in the relaxed reception with a glass of sparkling wine whilst the receptionist took our passport’s and did all the check in paperwork, we downloaded the app as shown and this gave us access to book all the restaurants etc, jumped on a golf cart with the luggage/bellboy and whisked to our swim up suite just a short ride from reception. Once in the room all facility’s were clearly explained by our guide, as we arrived at 10pm a bottle of wine and some snacks were kindly placed in the room for us which just enhanced the perfect start to our visit. We’ve been here four days now and eaten in two of the restaurants as well as the buffet restaurant which have all been exceptional. The wet bar has been my son’s favourite as the food, drink and service is at as good in there as in the main restaurants! The room is well appointed with all you need and the fact that our son has a separate room in the suite just makes it all so much easier when getting ready for an evening out, the cleaners visits have been well timed, the room is spotless and all items replenished daily as expected. We honestly cannot express how impressed we are with this hotel and the service we have received, a big thank you to all the staff.

The Gennadi Grand Resort has surpassed all my expectations. The staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The service provided by Kira and Petra at Ten2One was wonderful. Everything was perfect! I will return

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff. They work hard as a team to achieve a unique Gennadi beach resort holiday . We were half board and probably would avoid that option next time . The food was top notch and the buffet restaurant achieve really high standards of cuisine but you will share the dining room with lots of families, whose children are gorgeous but at 8pm are still up at the restaurant being young children . There is no facility for an adults only evening meal . The activities are all great from the beach volley ball , yoga , aqua fit to a sumptuous spa. We attended the astrology evening which was one of the best things we had ever done . You are a long way from Rhodes town and be prepared for a long bus journey on the local bus service . Rodos town is so worth a visit and Lindos too . Bring beach swim shoes for the beach as very pebbly. Our room was fantastic and facilities excellent . On a par with ikos . Big shout out to housekeeping , reception , portering and bar staff who are always on duty ! Great entertainment in the evening and we loved Passenger and the Greek duo.
