Pefkos Karpathios

Why would you build apar**ents on such a steep hill? We arrived very early hours so had to find room ourselves and no water available to drink! Can not fault Nikos at reception/bar as he was very welcoming and friendly. Nikos, the pool and views made up for these very very basic and unconventional apar**ents. I'm only 52 and had trouble with this hill, so steep was a killer in the heat. I've been going to Greece for over 40yrs now and know how basic it can be but there was no storage in room, only a piece of driftwood suspended from the ceiling to hang clothes on and a table. We had to leave most things in our cases. Room was very small, rusty cutlery, dirty fridge, bedding and towels only changed once in the 10 nights we were there! Shower flooded everytime we used it as nothing on floor to stop water going into bedroom! Such a shame as they could do so much more here.
